1. Buy a new TV (or claim via home insuance)
2. Repair the TV although likely to be more than a new one.
3. Put the kids up for adoption and buy yourself a bigger better tv."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51981737","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"stedaman"},"datePublished":"2024-01-14T18:01:53.000Z","text":"Whatever you do, do not try to con the seller."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51981527","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Gollywood"},"datePublished":"2024-01-14T17:34:48.000Z","text":"Definitely not the kids fault...even if it was.
You wouldn't be asking on HUKD if you had Accidental Damage cover or could claim via home insurance (if you have it).
So buy a new TV and prevent your kids from breaking it again "},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51981800","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"The2Time"},"datePublished":"2024-01-14T18:13:32.000Z","text":"Buy a new one. No doubt whilst playing Call of Duty with his mates his controller had \"accidentally\" launch over 2 meters in to the screen.
Result -- No TV for a few months.
Whatever you do with the TV you are going to have to find a way that it never happens again.
Your only options are buy a new one or claim on insurance or do without. You could raise a claim with ebay saying it was broke when you got it, which is what I guess you want the ok for but that would be out of order."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51981757","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"HappyShopper"},"datePublished":"2024-01-14T18:05:44.000Z","text":"How much was the TV?"},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51998557","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Kornel"},"datePublished":"2024-01-17T08:53:04.000Z","text":"I'd claim that on my house insurance..."}],"commentCount":29,"interactionStatistic":11,"articleSection":"Ask"}
