Thanks for posting! Key line in the description for many: NOT for charging. (edited)

There are two items in title though, one link cable, and a set of chargers, all bases covered eh

Voted hot as it's a fab price for the cables alone!

However, I got to say - When I got the Quest 2 I bought all the cables and I find it horrible to use with the cable attached. I then bought the wireless link app, and it is really good to my PC (the PC has to be ethernet connected to the router though), which (when combined with the battery pack) negates the need for a permanent connection.

Might not be the same for everyone, but I would recommend to avoid cables if at all possible with VR. (edited)

I will spend £5 and compare by myself. But thanks for this bunch of info.

Worth to confirm this should be fine with Meta Quest 3. Anybody disagree? Any experience on using with Quest 3?

Nice, will give this a go as since I upgraded gpu I no longer have usb c on the pc… also delivery seems to be £4.99 for me. Picked up the stealth vr2 case for £5 as well as back in stock for delivery.

Does this charge meta while playing?

Got the link cable earlier. Did a quick test and worked fine. Fingers crossed no issues going forwards. It does charge the headset but at a slow rate and so still drains faster than chargers but at least extends your battery time.

If you want full speed charging then probably need the official one at like £85 more!
For £5 I can live with this as if I get desperate to keep playing I will just switch to my Rift but I think it's battery will out last most of the sessions I'll get time to play anyway.

There are cables that plug into the wall and your PC that can charge and stream at the same time for around £30 on Amazon. I'm still trying to find the best one for me, the one I've got seems to need unplugging and plugging back in on occasion.

I got this one for quest 3. Works for me! (Was £17.50 just before Christmas when I got mine)

Hi guys! Sorry to slightly hijack a thread but I’m interested in buying a used (or new) Quest 2 headset predominantly for mirroring the screen of a device:

But fir screen mirroring does it have to be to a PC (or laptop) or can it be to an Android tablet or iPad?

Also for screen mirroring how do you get sound? Would earphones be required? If so would over the ear headphones work or would inear headphones be better?

Also if screen mirroring, how long would the battery last for watching films?

Hopefully, someone can answer my questions!

    Regards, Steve.
