Apple TV 4K, remote charging cable not included.

Hi, our family got us this for Christmas We noticed that there was no charging cable with the remote. My phone charger does not work. Can anyone tell me what kind of charging cable I need please. Thank you

    Thank you. I understand you need a lightening cable, I have a few and none fit. Apple support doesn’t say what kind.

    If it’s the new Apple TV they are usb c not lightning  (edited)
