How does this compare to the 84 model?
    Noxy's avatar
G84 has 12gb ram and much better Oled screen. Though both phones have issues with cameras

I found a new of creating a Perks At Work UK account with a personal email address without employment information.

    1. Enter personal email address

    2. Type Morgan Stanley in the work place box and change the location from United States to United kingdom.

    3. Change the place of work to Clark County 911 and make sure the location is United Kingdom

    4. If that does not work keep switching back and forth between those two companies and change the countries. Finally switch back to Clark County 911 and ensure the location is United Kingdom.

Terrible phone, camera is absolutely useless. Can't focus in broad daylight, loads of other problems with day-to-day usage. Tried to palm it off to my 9 year old daughter and she rejected it too. Definitely research more and buy something else.
    tiree's avatar
Nonsense , only problem is the Camera. Everything else is more than adequate.

Anyone else seem to have issues with GPS and Google Maps on this phone? GPS seems to constantly lose connection
    YouAreTheSheeple's avatar
I'm guessing MediaTek, I remember the early days of MediaTek, gps was bad, really bad but would have thought they sorted it by now.

Does anyone know if VoLTE (4G calling) works on Lebara (or Vodafone) on this phone?

I know the phone definitely supports VoLTE but Vodafone are very picky on which phones can use VoLTE meaning phone calls drop down to 2G if it's not on the approved list and this affects MVNOs that run on their network too

    Thanks, ordered, looks good.

Anyone having issues with their g54 touchscreen ... experiencing issues where taps are not always recognised ... maybe 1 in 10. Not sure if it's a sensitivity issue or just not hitting in quite the right area so doesn't register. Or am I unlucky and could it be a faulty device?
  36. big_ndn's avatar
    Any good cases for these?
    Supatramp's avatar
    I bought from ebay. (edited)
  37. Redvillage65's avatar
Please remember that Motorola has only promised three years of security updates for G54 and one major OS update. The phone was released on 5 September 2023 so the last security update will be on 5 September 2026 (less than three years). There are better budget phone options out there. (edited)

I moved up from a G8 Plus to a G84, never noticed any problems with no updates.
  38. PayPeanuts77's avatar
Anyone having any problems with this phone? I don't have any kind of internet connection when I leave my home - my previous phone would automatically start using my mobile data.
