Hi. It's my first deal. I think it's really good offer if somebody wants to have a rest in Miami in a next few weeks.

I once flew Norse to New York and really they're not that bad at all. Comfortable seats. Relatively good entertainment. Everything went smoothly.

Top tip - rather than buying an inflight meal, I took a King Pot Noodle Bombay Badboy and asked the flight attendant for some hot water. He was actually kind enough to take it away, fill it up with boiling water and came back with a wooden fork and a napkin

Looking at flying to Miami for Easter, end of March. Any ideas where to stay? I know the flights will be more than £258 during that time

Oh, and flames for the deal!

I'd personally get out of Miami. Hire a car and either drive straight across Florida to Naples - numerous hotel options there (incl more budget ones that are still decent, e.g. Hyatt House). Or drive down to Keys (expensive but unique). Or drive north up the coast, between Fort Lauderdale & Vero Beach - lots of accommodation options there, still awesome beaches and should be cheaper than Miami.

Great price but very dubious about this airline, they're not scheduled so if they end up cancelling your flights like they did to friends of ours to Barbados you will end up getting stuck. Sure you'll get your £250 back but good luck getting last minute flights at anything near a reasonable cost. Buyer beware and all that

We had flight booked with them to LA last October. They rescheduled to a day later with a months notice. Seems like they do this fairly often. Had to get my money back and fly with BA. By that time flight prices had gone up, so ended up out of pocket.

Honestly if you don’t mind flying super light (Ryanair style ), its superb price imho!

I wouldn't risk a middle seat for 8 hours though... Even if it does cost 50% of the flight for a window seat!

The downside of all transatlantic flights is if you want a window seat you have to pay about £40 for the privilege, each way!! People mone about Ryanair and seats etc, but they all do it now

It's getting ridiculous. We just booked a BA World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) flight to the Dominican Republic and paid a total of £300 for seat reservations! If you want to be guaranteed of sitting next to your significant other, you're, essentially, forced to reserve seats at extortionate prices.

They’re a great airline. Yes it’s no frills, but the fleet is brand new so even economy is more comfortable than some more expensive carriers.
Miami airport, and the gates Norse use, is an absolute dump though. We travelled round the world and it’s one of the worst airports we went to in 25 countries!

    I've been to 26 countries

I flew with Norse at new year. We had to wait 2 hours in the queue to check in at Gatwick, there is no online checking option. Inflight food was decent. Seat size is cozy but not impossible.

I did 10 hours in ecomony 1 way two weeks ago and it knacked my back in, had to come back in premium ecomony which was totally different. I Can imagine thar norse seats are all ecomony and a flight time of around 8 hours I could never do that no matter how cheap it is. i would pay the extra now for long haul

Praying for some edinburgh deals, my favourite UK airport and always a joy flying from there.
    gtd65's avatar
It's my closest airport but I wouldn't like to think how bad the other airports are, if it's your favourite?

Need some deals, going the other way, from Florida to UK in the summer.
Prices seem to be around $1600!
    HangTime's avatar
Most return flights these days are just the combined cost of two single flights, so I would've thought 'going the other way' is as simple as flipping the departure and destination?

I just tried it and saw return flights the other way for under £300 without even looking to optimise the dates.

I suspect the reason you see high prices is due to the time of year, looks like you still do it under £500 though. (edited)
