sorted by- And? Switch has sold 140 million units, Xbox X/S 27 million units, so that means 140 million Switch gamers can enjoy this game collection, whilst the very few who haven't totally abandoned Microsoft can too. (edited)
- I thought that said Rock N Roll Racing for a second. Loved that game.
- Some another Rare games are coming on another platforms
- K-K-K-KOMBO BREAKER!!!This is Killer Instinct not Mortal Kombat!
Its C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!
(edited) - When I see this logo I only think of the hundreds of hours on perfect dark and golden eyeRare were almost as good as Nintendo on the N64 software front. Diddy Kong Racing was much better than Mario Kart 64 for example. The two Zelda's (especially Majora's Mask) means Nintendo just wins. Conker will be most annoyed. (edited)
- Blast corps was great back in the day wonder if it’s still as hard as it was , anyone know if there was a non time trial mode in it ? Or did you redo levels for secrets ? Think my little one would love just demolishing the buildings
Will subscribe for a month but wish I could just buy the bloody thingN64 games are only available for Expansion Pack members which isn't available for less than 12 months - Snake Rattle 'n' Roll was one of my favourites, especially playing 2 player. Still remember the shortcut on level 1 and the panicked rush to get to it in time
- Killer instinct!!!! Sunday afternoon sorted cheersDo you think the B. Orchid fatality will still be there?
- Blast Corps is criminally underrated.
- Battletoads with rewind... Finally I might actually stand a chance of beating the game 30 years later!
- It's cool if these games are what you played as a kid but I certainly didn't maybe apart from R.C Pro Am but not a lot to see here from my perspective Part of me was secretly hoping it was going to be a GameCube announcment no matter how unlikley (edited)A number of GameCube games are out / coming for Switch -

That's a lot of good games - I miss these days, when games were good. One boy getting Goldeneye on our street and everyone going round to play. Then I got FF7 and I hated it, but my best mate whose sister died came round to play and stayed around every night to play while I watched. Then Banjo Kazooie came out and we all went around there again and MGS came out and we all watched that same mate complete that. My favourite memories though were him grinding on FF8 cause of something he kept calling Junctions.... Still haven't bothered with it myself lol. We were all playing Tony Hawk in the same room while he was doing that cause I got a second PS1..... I dunno why I did that in hindsight when I could have gotten something else? But I was such a Playstation fanboy lol.Loved them days playing games or watching mates play them none of this online stuff just in the same room together
- Hope this gets us one step closer to DK64!!
- Some nice new icon elements are available for Nintendo Switch Online members
- Finally games I've wanted on NSO since I bought a steam deck. Main issue, my steam deck emulation is better - but I want to play on the switch so this will be great
- Some great additions there. I've only just resubscribed for 12 months, so looking forward to playing these and the rest of the library!Great game but often overlooked (I seem to remember it came out less than a year before the SNES launched). Absolutely rock hard. I never got past the second ice level (penultimate I believe). Sad there was never a sequel.
- YAY!
- Need Killer Instinct Gold now!
- Used to love RC Pro Am. Still have the original
- At this point why they not dropping rare replay. It just feels personal at this point. That’s what I thought when I saw it in Nintendo direct. Just go the full hog
- Gamepass coming soon…Pretty sure all of these games are in Rare Replay, which is available on Game Pass.
- Killer instinct and battletoads!! Oh the hours I used to spend playing these!
- Co Co Co commmmbooo breaker!
- I bought, played and still own all these games.
And for that reason I play them guilt free on my phone.
Snapdragon 695 will play N64 games just great with a Bluetooth controller or Kishi. You bought and own legitimate copies of these games in cartridge format. That did not come with the right to "dump" (copy) the game file from the cartridge, or download illegitimate copies of the game file from the internet. When you legitimately obtain a game in any medium you own a single legitimate copy of the original work. Copyright is the protection of original works against unauthorized duplication. - Killer instinct arcade version was 👌👌👌👌👌The loudest machine in the arcade… done intentionally by Rare
- even anbernic owners
even miyoo mini owners
rasperrry pi owners
windows 98 plus owners
hell even 5 year android phone owners eating better than switch owners
i remember there was a n64 emulator on the psp
nintendo just sucks - Killer instinct!!
- Rc pro am was great. Battletoads is one of my faves from back in the snes days
- Blast corps was 🔥🔥🔥
- No Jet Force Gemini??Already available
- the issue with any game from this era is playing it on modern displays
these games will always look terrible
idiots at digital foundry will insist on only using crts for classic games- this is incorrect, just like the idea that OLED is the best for 30/60 hz gameplay
the best way to play classic games is with retroarch shaders
my personal preference is zfast CRT shader
yeetron is also really good
you may have a personal preference
tldr- modern displays cannot give an authentic experience without shaders
