Presenting adidas' Terrex Techrock RAIN.RDY Anorak: A top-tier mountaineering jacket designed for those passionate about scaling new heights and conquering any challenge! This jacket is designed with softshell-like stretch nylon Primeknit fabric, which offers flexibility and durability. RAIN.RDY technology locks out moisture and absorbs your sweat to ensure you stay dry and comfortable during unpredictable weather conditions, making it a reliable companion on climbing excursions.

The high protective hooded collar provides extra coverage and can be used to pack away the jacket when not needed. The long sleeves are designed to allow arm lifts without causing the bottom hem to rise, ensuring unrestricted movement and comfort during challenging climbs. With a half-zip fastening and water-resistant guards, this men's jacket offers enhanced protection against the elements; while the large front pocket provides ample storage space for your essentials, keeping them easily accessible.

The Terrex Techrock RAIN.RDY Anorak showcases a sleek and sporty design, featuring solid block colouring with contrasting Terrex branding on the front and a 3-Stripes motif on the hood. It is the ideal jacket for mountaineering enthusiasts who seek a combination of performance, style, and durability.

Would have had a look if full zip, but half zips are a nightmare if carrying a pack. Mind you it's adidas, it's designed for town wear not hiking, so sure it has a target market (but not at £300!)

Been thinking about this, there are uses for a smock but I'm not convinced. Generally they're to save weight on zips etc, so they pack really small, and are for when you are hoping you won't need it but might (I always carry something, even if just a plastic poncho!). The idea of carrying a pack and not being able to unzip though, not for me. If you're going to bother adding a half zip may as well make it the whole way as you've already removed half the point of it.

I'm sure it's excellent value at the price posted and I'm not knocking the deal/poster in any way, but does anyone actually believe the RRP's or "Was" prices on any products sold at Mike Ashley's emporiums of tat?? Selling stuff at 90% discount, come on...

There was a maroon jacket in the same style a few weeks ago, I went into the store to check the size, quality etc., it was £90 but still £300 on the Adidas website, it's very lightweight, which is what I wanted, so have now purchased this one. Thanks OP.

I’m not saying that it is worth £300, and it is obviously old season, but a similar women’s equivalent is on the adidas website as £300 down to £150

Any good for cycling? Just casual nothing extreme

Cycling jackets usually have longer backs so you get better coverage if your leaning forward. Probably fine if you are generally in an upright position.

This is selling fast, which is not surprising as this is a genuine bargain. Large and XL are already sold out.

Tried to order in S and M and there's an unexpected error - is it all sold out?
    Aurora_TheArtofLight's avatar
Probably... I managed to order small for myself. Hope it'll fit, some things from Adidas Techrock are massively oversized, some not so much

I bought the burgundy version of this the other day but I’m too fat to fit in it. I usually get a small bit this was tight! Was gutted actually because it was a nice colour and the jacket while not worth £300 rrp you could tell it was well made and made for a purpose.

Just an fyi with sports direct, if you return it you have to pay for postage to return it which is £5

Oh one thing I did find weird with it was the neck part was very long and the hood would flop over my head and iv got a large head as it is 😄
