I’ve a pair of these at the end of their use after just 1 year of dog walking. Front top, where your toes bend, have split and the soles are very badly worn. I generally get a couple of years from my dog waking shoes so I wouldn’t by these at full price again. £55 is about what they’re worth imo. (edited)

I wear a lot of Salomon shoes but recently claimed against their 2yr warranty. They tried their best to wriggle out of it but in the end they gave me a store voucher for £150. The defect itself was minimal and they are still used. It was a genuine manufacturing fault even though it was just the label on the toungue had split lol. (edited)

Beware Salomon's are utter crap these days. Such a shame as I used to buy only Salomon. Scarpa these days.

In my experience you need to go 1 size up. Especially if you have wider feet

thanks answered my question - not big enough sizes for me.

I've been wearing 12 in terrex but tried an 11 at the weekend as silly cheap in outlet store - no joy just too tight.
