About this deal

Good selection of drill bits for all materials and the drill/driver bits will meet most DIY needs. Not sure if the RRP is realistic though!

A great set, have bought it several times, but £36 is no deal.
The original retail price quoted is an utter lie.
Average full price is usually about £30 and they often drop to nearer £20.
(Last one I bought was £16 on v special offer.)

Agree, drops to the low £20’s quite often. Either on Amazon or Screwfix.

    Great set.

Obviously a time machine required but I bought it for under £20, was probably 2021 though!

Don't know that well, but these Bosch branded 103pc set is cheaper

What is the difference or am I missing something?

The cyl-9 multi material bits in the smaller (currently overpriced) set are very very good, even doing ceramic and stone, much 'fancier' than the big set.
Also impact-rated bits in the smaller. Even the box is an order of magnitude better.
Small set, some flat & wood bits and maybe some decent metal ones generally far better than the above, and saves money in the long run.
Bosch's cheapest drill bits are not great.

    Echo the comments already.
Great set but this is way too expensive.

You'll easily get a least a tenner off this if you wait a few weeks.

You are absolutely right! Just seen it on eBay for 25.99.

    Lesson learned ....

This seems a stupidly high price. Like everyone else on this thread, I paid under £20 for both of my sets a couple of years back.

I'm actually not a big fan of the impact bits. They don't seem to provide a great fit to the screw head for my liking - it's like they don't make use of as much of the screw head as they could/ should and so they churn up the centre more than other brands do, especially when removing old screws.

I have this set and it has been great, think I've only broken the smallest drill bit and that is through my usual misuse but that price is a fair whack off the normal sale price. As others have said, fairly sure I paid under £20 for it.
