I've got the £4.99 plan and in my experience there are not loads of adverts. In a 30 minute episode I only get one single advert usually lasting around 30 seconds. Even better I watched a movie last week and didn't get an advert at all. Much better than channel 4 where you have to sit through at least 3 minutes of adverts.

For me the point of paying to watch content means I shouldn't also have to watch adverts. It's getting more & more difficult to avoid - even BBC iplayer has adverts!

I have this too, its not bad, get around one 30 seconds add for every 2/3 episode on Friends.

Barely notice the ads , sometimes if watching a series then we don’t seem to even get one . During a film get the odd one or two , but short , the time of them is shown , so maybe 20/30 seconds per break .

For a salty sea-farer, any amount of adverts is too many. 🦜 (edited)

I have the 4.99 subscription and there’s not that many adverts per show/movie which would frustrate the life out of you…I can also have 2 people in my household watching at same time with the 4.99 plan.

4.99 is supposed one person at a time, maybe you got lucky, anyone else tried ot on their 4.99 account?

Im quite happy with £4.99.  not every series / movies they shows adv. popular series every 15/20 mins. 2 device same time and download option also. its a good deal tbh.

Look at all these people moaning about Netflix ads, when their internet browsing experience is bound to be littered with rampant ads.

Depends what your definition of 'loads' is.

I tried watching a film on All4 but the three minutes of adverts every 25 minutes was enough for me, won't use it again.

Some movies have none, some have multiple on Netflix, maybe downgrade and see how you get on?

I can't say for adverts, but the £4.99 is limited to one person watching at a time, Standard Definition and no downloads. The £17.99 one is 4 people at a time, with downloads, in Ultra-HD.

Odd, I have the £4.99 deal and Netflix delivers a decently sharp image on an iMac while BBC iPlayer does not. (edited)

I use freevee sometimes, some movies have adverts, some don’t .

I always pause at the beginning, to see how many circles are on the gray bar, usually between 1-3 .

but the ads last between 10-40 seconds, usually closer to 10
