It seems like a normal price, no?

Pretty sure it is, had it in my basket for weeks now at around this price

I've got the very old one with the saw. Is there anything similar?

I have the tinker but I wished that I had the super tinker.
Great knife and legal to carry on the UK

The deluxe is even better, rarely on offer.

You can open a bottle however with your finger wrapped around the bottle's neck to serve as a lever to use a lighter or the other end of a fork or spoon to bend the crimped cap off 👌🏻

So instead of having a pocket knife you'd recommend carrying a lighter, fork, or spoon around? If a bottle opener is the only thing you want, you can get tiny ones to go on a keyring

I would urge people not to become obsessed about the scissors, I owned a Spartan for years, it's served me so well on every camping trip. Don't get me wrong the super tinker is nice but the scissors make it a three layer which is much more noticeable in the pocket, I find the Spartan just disappears in ones pocket. Scissors are a nicety But there's very little but scissors can do that a blade can't. It's just pretty much cutting fine shapes which can be useful for paper or electrical tape or things like that but if you have a blade you can still do it it's just takes a lot more time and care.

As part of the EDC tool are scissors important. Scissors are specifically designed for cutting materials such as paper, nails, fabric, and hair with precision and control, which can be challenging with a knife. Scissors are safer for cutting delicate or intricate shapes, and they provide better leverage and are better for trimming and shaping.

sod's law- I needed a bottle opener the other day. Was forced to use scissors.

Hopefully they've improved durability of the scissors. Mine broke after several years. But otherwise excellent build quality.

I travel a lot and these became pointless once they stopped you taking them on flights.
    DoublePortingDad's avatar
    Yeah, flights are terrible nowadays.
I took a SAK to the embassy once without knowing. They scanned my backpack, took it off me and returned when I was leaving. I genuinely thought that the reaction will be worse than that.

Finally got it without third party verification. Anyway, why the deal was delated? I still see the same price at Amazon.
