How good a deal is this for a macbook? Not interested in other laptops or brands as my son is adamant he wants a macbook.
No idea about models or value for money, but realistically I'm aiming for something under £1k as I can't afford anythibg higher.

He's been looking at cex and is convinced he'll get a good deal there, but it would be good to get advice off people who know on here.

There are loads of different macbooks. What does he need it for?

1k (or less) can get you a decent machine.

I'm guessing he's not a power user if he's asking dad to buy it?

Delivery by June 30th at checkout. For a Grade A, this makes no sense. (edited)

'Free Priority: Expected delivery by Tuesday 2nd April' showing on my screen

Edit: Cheers for flagging, went to that holding date because it sold out while you were adding it or something as I just refreshed and now OOS and showing that (edited)

CCL Computers doesn't exist anymore or rather not trading.

The previous owners have set up another company called WILDER BIDCO LIMITED which currently is in control of the CCL website. (edited)

Wilder Bidco is owned by the investors (Arete Cap Partners) of Tactus group who bought CCL and Box but went under alongside box.co.uk due to overexpansion and lack of 2023 Christmas sales with box and their also suing the former owners of Box for misstating facts. As far as I’m aware CCL still operate the same as when they were under ownership of Tactus (Same warehouse, staff etc) (edited)
