So you have to make three purchases?
    Muig1972's avatar
    3 purchases of at least £10 each to get 500 points, which equates to £2.50. 4 x £10 purchases to get 1000 points (£5), 5 x £10 purchases to get 1500 (£7.50).

I think this equates to make x3 purchases of at least £10 each
    Get £15 back

    No.
Buy 5 things for £10 each (min. £50 total spend) and get 1500 points = £7.50.

So the best case scenario £7.50 off £50.

Is it just me that thinks Nectar is pretty rubbish? you have to spend so much for very little reward. Obviously offers like this aren't too bad but for general spending in Sainsburys etc. it barely seems worth doing.

You used to get 10x Nectar points, sometimes even 20x. Now it's mostly 5x on one.

Does anyone have problems logging in to eBay via their app? I have never previously used the app but recently installed it, but the app keeps throwing errors, thereby refusing to log me in.

The eBay help team is beyond useless. They said they would reach out to me with a solution, after giving them the error messages thrown, but have failed to do so.

I am running the latest eBay app build. I am running the latest iOS version. I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled the eBay app, but without any success.

Googling the error messages results in the numerous others sharing their frustration on various forums and Reddit, from as far back as ten years ago.

    What gives ?

The app is terrible, one of the worst shopping apps hands down and eBay is aware of it. I get multiple login issues, stuck in a login loop and if I do login occasionally logged out for no reason - or taken outside the app where I’m forced to login again. I don’t think you’re alone in the experience. I believe they want people to use the app because they can get people away from cashback sites and control the experience, even though it’s worse (like hiding descriptions from buyers and showing photos as the primary part of any listing).

Also you can’t use the app with any redirected discounts like Health Service.

the £10 minimum is confusing. Does that mean if I have multiple items in my basket with the combined total of £10 (or over) that this will not qualify as one £10 purchase? Drives me crazy how they can't just word these promotions legibly!!!
    Tillydog's avatar
No it does not, I’ve just placed an order with two items in one order over £10 and did not qualify 😏

Problem is if you use cashback sites it takes you to desktop site not to the app first.

this and the discount code are the reasons I tend to wait on paying for an auction I've won nowadays

Don't you have to pay straight away ( or within a quick time)?

Can I confirm, if I were to purchase 5 x £10 + items through the eBay app I would receive 1500 nectar points or is it you buy 3 x items get 500 nectar then you have to purchase another 4 x £10 items to get 1000 nectar and so on? (edited)
    Roygroyg's avatar
T&cs says a maximum of 1500 points from this offer further down. It initially reads the other way but they are not that generous! Still potentially works out as 15% discount max.

They say they will award them at the end so it will just be a single credit depending on level reached. (edited)

Just bought via a PC browser rather than the app, as I hadn't read the above properly. To my surprise, the purchase is marked with 'Bonus Points' for the campaign in my summary here. Fingers crossed. Anyone managed to get app bonuses via a PC browser in previous campaigns?
