Product description:

This Lenovo IdeaPad laptop has everything you need to breeze through the basics. Binge, browse, or get on with a spot work. There's 8GB of RAM that'll make sure you don't run into trouble when multitasking, and an 11" Full HD screen, films will look just as bright and bold as they do on the big screen. Plus, with 128GB of SSD storage, you can load up files and programs in no time.

Keep in contact
Thanks to the onboard camera, this device, once connected to Wi-Fi, will let you take part in video chats or virtual meetings, enabling the fun of the office to come to you.

Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
The Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in this laptop has enough speed for you to stream videos, browse online, and edit word documents.

Its 4-core, 8-thread design keeps everything running smoothly, and you'll also be able to enjoy a spot of casual gaming too.

A solid performer
RAM is your computer's short term memory. The more you have, the faster you can expect apps to launch and run. There's 8GB in this machine, so you'll be able to run a healthy number of windows at once without any obvious lag or slowdown.

Super-fast loading with plenty of storage
The 128GB Solid State Drive (SSD) gives you the capacity to store documents and media, while ensuring speedy and dependable access to your files and programs. It'll boots up in a flash, and you'll have enough space for all your music, photos, and a couple of videos too.

Great entertainment
The WUXGA display packs loads of detail into films, videos and games, with a built-in sound system that pumps out crisp and punchy audio.

Connecting your other devices
Connect to TVs or external displays with the HDMI output. Listen to music using a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connect to high-speed peripherals with the USB ports, and send data wirelessly between devices using Bluetooth.

Much better than the version with only 4GB ram. If your primary use is going to be watching media, also consider the bigger Duet 5 which has an OLED screen rather than the LCD here. With either, you can genuinely get 12-14 hours of media watching time on a single charge. Brilliant for a long haul flight etc.

I added the 2GB extra ram thing that you can do. It borrows it from your storage, but it made a big difference.

I've got the 8gb duet 5 but would prefer the 3 as I find the 5 too big for anything but watching stuff

I agree to a certain extent feves. The 5 is too big to use as a tablet, but for me, it's great when on a desk with the supplied keyboard attached.
