    It's great to grow your own food. Look into the perennial options to save sowing every year. Taunton Deane kale is my favourite, as it lives years, grows big and is really easy to propagate by taking cuttings. Other good perennials include chives, Jerusalem artichokes, sorrel, walking onions, Welsh onions etc.

    Only advice I can give about gardening (outdoor or indoor) is that over-attention to plants is the most likely error you'll make. Over-watering being most common I'm still trying to get a hold of the hard way ; )
