Use the NO THANKS app to scan barcode, this will tell you where they're from.

What's wrong with where they're from? Bit confused here. These are good quality

Never knew that the USA produced dates. Nor South Africa or Namibia, for that matter

Barcode scanner can help. Aldi where selling dates that were sourced from Israel but marked as south africa I believe. Even Tesco was selling dates that where unbranded in terms of location.

Genuine question, what do dates taste like, are they similar to prunes?
    BlackHawk's avatar
No, way better. Very moist with caramel and toffee-like flavours, I eat them instead of chocolate after a meal, they hit the spot and are high in fibre. (edited)

Just be careful with Medjool dates - wherever they're from.

Once you taste them, there's no going back

These were less than £3 a month or so ago!

Ok….and? Can we travel back in time to buy them for that price?

Medjool and Khudri dates are the best.

Fresh dates taste completely different but equally nice, unfortunately I did not find anywhere sell them in the uk

You should check the origin, if you are an ethical buyer
