Tomatoes are one of the most popular vegetables to grow indoors. Tomatoes are a warm-season vegetable, so they should be planted in the spring and harvested in the fall.

Planting a tomato from scratch saves your money, and ensures better quality food. Once your tomatoes are ripe, wash them before storing them in the fridge, and enjoy!

I find it odd that there's a 60 page book on how to grow tomatoes, am I missing something here?

I can think of a way to find out, at no cost to yourself..

This must have been written by an expert, so much of an expert that they've re classified a tomato as a vegetable rather than the fruit that it actually is!
I think the author has really tripped up here. (edited)

The author probably knows that tomatoes are a fruit and a vegetable, and that the two categories aren't mutually exclusive...

Wait until you find out about peas.

Me thinks that 'Tomatoes' is a euphemism for another popular herb.

Sounds like a good name for an autobiography of me and my 3 nerdy housemates.

I've grown bush varieties on a spare bedroom window sill for years. Ive only bought 2 lots of tomatoes in 5 years. Quite decorative in winter if there's snow around even. No pesticides etc and a few plants can give a decent crop and keep relatively compact.

4 weeks of veg, 8 weeks of flower, make sure you don't over feed and flush properly with just water towards the end.

With plenty of light, but don't put them in the window!
