New digital version being released soon by Ryobi. Likely trying to get rid of stock.

There's one listed on Amazon US - twice the price mind..

Had it in my head that this one doesn’t really work on car tyres (pretty sure mine needs >32psi anyway). Anyone have it and use it for tyres?

Yes, no problem inflating car tires. Not quite as quick as the machines in the petrol station but plenty fast enough. The gauge isn't that accurate from an absolute point of view, but is from a relative perspective - e.g. is may show 35 when in reality it is 32, if you add 5 PSI based on the dial you can be pretty confident it has gone up 5 PSI through.

Will this be good to have for camping to inflate airbeds?

I've certainly successfully done it with no problems.

The batteries are feeble and you use it plugged imost of time.
Unhappy with mine and binned it. Slow and you have to bend over to hold it in position if the valve is anywhere but the bottom.

The hose became faulty and I binned it.

If you're using it plugged in, you're not using this (I have one and it's not possible)

Additionally, this comes without the battery, and they do a range of 18v batteries with various capacities including a 9ah unit.

Even their entry level battery works well in this. (edited)

These are really good. Use it for the car, bikes, swimming pools and party balloons.

Thanks OP. I’m building up my ryobi tool collection nicely. 4 out of 200 I’ve got now. Not sure will be easy to trade like panini stickers though.

    Was tempted but:

    - no auto cut off
    - you have to hold the trigger down for it to operate
    - guage is not very accurate

Good price for the item but the above puts me off personally. Gave you a hot.

I've got the Xiaomi battery inflator. It ticks all your 3 items but it's very slow. You can walk away and leave it due to cut off at least

I have one and it's brilliant. Heat added.

Keen to get one of these at such a deflated price - was eyeing up the makita version, and also the Ring RTC4000 - how quickly do these inflate a car tyre, compared to, say a Ring Automotive - RAC635 - that's what I currently use off the cigarette lighter, it isn't slow nor quick (typical use on tyre with slow leak 20 psi to 35 psi) but a lot easier than using a track pump

p.s. manufacturers rarely list the air flow rate, which would be useful to know when comparing. (edited)

Maybe 2 mins to go from 0 to 35 psi

The gauge on mine is absolutely rubbish, just have to guess, very frustrating.

I have one of these, but it’s got a digital read out. Very handy
