(Monitor with no Audio Out) HDMI audio extractor recommendations for DELL G2724D (PS5, 1440p 120hz)

Hi, does anyone have any solutions for audio on the Dell G2724D?

I want to connect my speakers to the monitor as the monitor itself doesnt have a 3.5mm jack

I know that a HDMI audio extractor is the solution, however looking at Amazon, I feel like a lot of the brands wont be reliable (would stop working in less than a year), therefore it would be insightful to have other peoples experiences with audio extractors.

Therefore, please could anyone recommend a HDMI audio extractor that works with PS5, and one that is reliable? I should clarify that it should support 1440p 120hz

I'm waiting to buy once on sale again and got Bluetooth speakers to link to my pc, that's the way I'm doing it.

Couldn't you just plug the speakers into the pc or whatever device your using to give the monitor a signal?

I have used this for a while with no issues.

But it still has to connect to a source device for the audio. (edited)

Yes on windows you can set audio to a different device than the display. I have mine sent to a Yamaha amp ws my TV won't send 5.1 audio to it.

I also sometimes send it to headphones directly from the pc

So OP just needs to plug speakers into his pc and change sound output settings (edited)
