Best place to sell Nintendo Switch

I've got a Nintendo Switch I've never used along with a couple of games I've never played and a couple of brand new SNES-style joypad/stick things.

I'm looking to get rid of them but there's no rush (so don't need to use Cash Converters, Music Magpie or the like).

I haven't sold on eBay for years. Is it safe to sell on there or is there anything I should be careful of - ie. insist on PayPal and not sending until money's in my account etc?

Thanks for any help provided.

If they are scared about Ebay there are dozens more different scams used on Facebook & hundreds more trying to do it.

FB marketplace is decent if you live in a high population area. Scams are pretty common sense to avoid(cash only, don't post or allow couriers). In my experience the scammers are unbelievably easy to spot and you'll only really fall for it if you're too trusting.

eBay is excellent, but unfortunately the scams on there are completely out of your control. All it takes is for the buyer to turn around and claim the package didn't include the item and eBay will likely side with them, even more so if you haven't sold on eBay for years and lack positive seller feedback. I ship using Royal Mail Tracked only(don't use Evri..) and usually film myself boxing up the item, just in case any issues do arise.

If you do choose to sell on ebay then make sure you use the 70/80% off fees offer that comes around(there's one currently). It's only really worth selling when those offers are live.

If you live in a city, ebay it, collection only, it's against the rules but just take payment on the day in person when they collect

Done it numerous times for high value items which I was scared to sell incase I got scammed

I reckon about 18 months old. OLED. Got it off here on a voucher deal or something which never paid out.

Edit: first 'purchases' on Nintendo account (free games) were end of November '22 so just less than 18 months. (edited)
