I've got an empty loft that I'd like to utilise so this is very tempting. Anyone got any insight on how these are installed?

Installing loft ladders is fairly easy. There's a bracket you screw onto the loft boards which then hooks onto the ladder itself. Instructions will be included but typically all you need is a drill, some screws and a bit of time.

Just a word of caution, check your loft layout as a 2-piece ladder is fairly tall. In order for me to fit a loft ladder I had to get a 3-piece. The way my loft and access hatch have been done there wasn't enough room for a 2-piece to go up and into the loft when stored. (edited)

Is this the alpha and omega of loft ladders?
