Went to Chessington a few weeks ago with my son (1 metre tall - 3yo). It was terrible!

The majority of the rides for his height range were closed. Not many food outlets or shops open.

The 'zoo' was terrible. Went on the safari and they listed about 8 animals...only saw 2...even my 3yo picked up on this. No other animals to be seen.

I won't be going back until he's taller and can go on more rides.

The only good thing was the short queues due to being mid week

Everyone will have different experiences. But we were there during the first week of may with 2 kids (2&4). We all had an excellent time. A lot of the rides have 1.1m restrictions but that’s to be expected. All good outlets were open. Food was decent. The park was extremely clean. I honestly couldn’t find anything to complain about.
We did Lego land the same week and we all preferred our time at Chessington.

Seems like a steal at 119. But can someone confirm these are “OKAY” for adults. Doesn’t have to be Sea World or Six Flags, but is it legit quality?

100% not good rides for adults

People call it Peppa pig world but that is in fact only part of the site. It's a really good theme park and for kids up to 8 yrs I would recommend it more than Thorpe or Chessington

Yeah, we're merlin pass holders, so it was 'free' for us.

I highly recommend LegoLand for children over 1 metre though, we have a been a few times and it was really good and 1m covers pretty much all the rides.

Paultons Park is very expensive, especially if you have to stay in a hotel.

Deal finder comes up as £278 for me.

Note there's communal toilets and showers too.

Doesn't work if you add 1 child who is 1 and under as you don't get the option of the family room. I changed the age to 2 and get the qouted prices.

Went there for an event, which taken separately from the rest of it was quite well done.

The rest of it tho, we experienced similar disappointments.

I think so because you still get the option of glamping if you select 1 and under, its just more expensive for some reason.
I have decided against it now as I am really not sure my kids will like the glamping aspect.

In the same position - try booking to take my 5 month old and 4 year old and it will only show me the premium glamping @£279, stating the the standard are sold out - I change the baby to 2 years old and suddenly the standard is available again for £159 .
