I’ve been looking for a Gaming Laptop for months now but have yet to buy as feel a little out of my depth. It will be primarily be used for gaming, video editing and game capture.

How does this compare with the Asus TUF Gaming F17 (2022) that was recently posted?

Thanks in advance - all help / advice appreciated

Spec wise, the Predator has raw power. You can definitely use it as a desktop replacement.
On Asus, I think I'd stay on with either Zephyrus or Scar series.

Predator? That's a rather judgemental name before it's even been used to download anything.

I got this same deal 2 weeks ago and wow the laptop is absolutely amazing. Punchy colours, can do all games ultra easily, and great fans although kindanloud but nothing headphones don't fix. So fast and so glad I got it. Seems a must to have a 2k screen at 17". Grab it if you can!

Bought this for £1600 last year, and it's a beast. Got a deal on 32gb of ram and added another 1tb M.2 SSD. Then sold the 16gb ram it came with.

Fans can get loud when using the "Extreme" cooling setting, but I'd recommend just using the "Turbo" setting as it gives the same performance gain.

    Couldn't recommend it more.
