9. Air Conditioning Recharge and Anti-Bacterial Clean takes approximately 1 hour. A pressure test will be carried out prior to the Air-conditioning Recharge being carried out. If a leak in the air conditioning system is detected the recharge will not proceed and the customer will be advised to get the system repaired. In such a circumstance the cost of the air conditioning recharge will be refunded.

thanks ,

I see they refund if a leak is found , good news if you buy a car and the a/c isn't working.
sellers will always say ' just wants a re-gas mate '

"Anti bacterial treatment is not included and will be charged for separately at a discounted price of £10 (normally £20) when combined with the purchase of an air conditioning recharge (Total combined price of £38.79)."

still good value, after last weeks lovely heat feel I might need ac this summer.

Good price if you know there are no leaks in your system. (Not sure if this service includes a leak check or not). If you think you have a leak, it needs to be checked prior to a recharge, or this may prove to be a waste of money.

Voted hot.

If the pressure test shows a leak then they would surely not proceed & hence no refund due as the payment should not have been made beforehand. A surefire way of getting your car AC system checked over before spending wasted money.

Good price though.

I didn't realise this was a good price for AC recharge, all my local garages do it for £30 all year round

Groupon had it for this price WITH anti back not long ago at ATS... probably be back soon.

Funny, since it costs so little why not just do it? Because that's always ****.

if you buy just the discounted recharge online, you can just go into store and ask for the anti bac at the time for the discounted price. the code given on the website doesn't work for the combined for some reason despite saying above that it does.

so whats the total £38 or £48? not OP £28.

This is not a bad price (often this can be £50, or £80 at a main dealer) but it is always worth checking. I was going to use ATS but have just found that a local garage (Central Autopoint here in Corby - 01536 261 619) has a deal for only £25 at the moment - so I've booked it in there.

I fell for that 'just wants a re-gas' a few years back and worked out to be £1500 to fix! Sold the car instead

BTW need to get mine re-gassed as it ran out last week so sounds good op, thanks!

Good price and service. Ats workington have always done a good job no problems and no found extras. I did get it cheaper though with Groupon last year maybe worth waiting for it to drop further. I like the idea of buying own antibacterial aerosol from europarts cheap and with a good discount as aircon can get a bit stinky. Hot (or cool) from me

"Looks like you need some brake pads and shoes, mate. We can fit those for you... mate"

And come out with 4 new tyres and brakes all round

Took mind there last year after this deal and surprise surprise put it on the other day and it's completely kaput. Old car so not that bothered but I honestly couldn't recommend them as I'm sure they messed it up

If you only put it on other day that's your problem, you are meant to use it all year round

cold. hidden charges.

So it's only for older cars then. 134 has been illegal in new cars for donkey's years.

How?

Regas is 28.79

If you want extras then you need to pay extra
Tittle states clearly regas not regas and santising/treatment

In terms & conditions:
5. Anti bacterial treatment is not included and will be charged for separately at the normal price of £20.

Nobody mentioned 5% Quidco?

does anyone know if my peugeot 207 2009 is eligible? my handbook doesnt mention anything about regas or refrigerant. thank you

Just booked, £28.79 indeed!

I've noticed that whenever I use the air con in my car, when I go back to using the normal air, it doesnt smell too good, very pungent. Could I do with a recharge or is that something else?

Anti bacteria and pollen filter? Is it cold

Yep, it's like that when I use the cold air. Hot air after a while normally gets rid of it

What you mean "ran out" only reason it would stop working is a leak. The gas is not a consumable

"Vehicles with R1234YF refrigerant gas are excluded from this offer"
One guess what gas is in my car!
