I'm disabled CP its like a rugby scrum instore, I can't physically win. This was the case at B&M.
I don't have a car and if I did someone would nick the disabled parking space.

I'm not sure of getting one even on online.

If you are in Liverpool, I'll gladly have a look in a couple of local Iceland's for you, to see if they have any?. (edited)

Just to let people aware I had a tower air fryer and it had an electrical fire which started at the base, thankfully I was in the kitchen at the time and have a kitchen door which I was able to throw it out on time, I have written and sent a video and images to the company.

thats enough to put me off i think...
Apparently they should not be overfilled as they can then overheat if the fan is blocked...
Are you the same person who put the video review up on Amazon of one setting on fire? (edited)

I almost scheduled a trip to Iceland. Those reviews were helpful. Thanks for the link

Is the dial one OK? I imagine people in the family trying to turn it down in time and breaking the mechanism
    dbb298's avatar
Can't speak for this model in particular but I originally had an air fryer with dial controls then "upgraded" to one with digital controls. I would much prefer to have one with dial controls it's quicker and less hassle. The digital controls don't do anything additional compared to the dial controls that I would find useful.

Decent airfryer, 3-4 portions is a bit optimistic though. more like 2 decent portions. Great for a quick kids meal though.

I think it would be worth you reading the Trust Pilot reviews on Kettle and Toaster man - Link

I have no personal experience of their service, but there's enough really negative reviews to cause some concern.

At 17.45 today, there were 6 left in the Food Warehouse Bristol Ashton Gate store. Not with the other appliances, but near the end of an aisle.

Are retailers price gouging air fryers?

I wish the government would provide them at cost to low income family's and vulnerable others in society.
The fire brigade fitted smoke alarms in my home for free last month.
    greatnameuk's avatar
Why should the government do that.... Plus it would probably cost them so much in admin that it would be better just handing out free money

yes its a good fryer i always try to air fry and save on electric bill! I watched the electric monitor & to cook in the air fryer cost very few pence compared to my oven that costs a fortune. They are becoming popular as an alternative way to cook give it a go. This product will sell out at this price.

I bought the 2L version of this air fryer for £ 39 in Asda couple of days ago.
All working fine, its my first one but it does what it needs to do.

    Frozen chips are yummy 😋
    No plastic aftertaste for me.
    Buy it.
I got a three year guarantee too.

My store opened at 8am. Google got it wrong again. There was a small group of hotukdealers there with me asking for air fryer a. Apparently the queue at 8am was 20 deep and they had the lot.

    All gone in Stockton-On-Tees.

Air fryers seem to be the new PS5s.

So I rang customer services to ask if they'd be sending me an airfryer tomorrow because I'm not waiting in for 3 items of grocery I only ordered for free delivery. Got through quickly. The CS rep said all she could do was call the store to check stock levels, but that still wouldn't guarantee I'd be getting one. Turns out the store has a grand total of 3, and my delivery is for tomorrow afternoon. I cancelled the order. Can't be dealing with nonsense wild goose chases. Well done to everyone who got one!
    nemo59's avatar
    Indeed.

Just back from Food warehouse in Peterborough and there was at least 50 of these as you walked in. Yes please and got mine and the 3 year warranty which is a bonus

Purchased the last one in the food warehouse in Ipswich today, used it twice already. Impressed

You are better spending more on an airfryer. You'll get more versatility and save more money in the long run. If you want to replace your oven then an airfryer that does everything an oven does is needed. For baking etc you need one that is universal and replicates your ovens function's. I have the ninja foodie and it's brilliant. I've had it a year and use it almost every day. Amazon also do brilliant deals with 5 months interest free payment options. This makes buying the higher quality ones so much easier.
Airfryers are superb but to get the best and save the most then you need to spend more and maybe avoid the budget fryers.
    Redbu11's avatar
Sorry but an air fryer will never fully be able to do what an oven can do due to space. Great for cooking a few nuggets but what do you do if you want 3 pizzas or a home made tray of lasagne etc etc.

    Tower Vortx T17082 4L.

Can anyone recommend a silicone mat or pot for this particular air fryer?
or is air fryer parchment paper/liner more economical?

iCELAND!! Dreadful just dreadful. I'm sooo angry!!

Order delivery this morning at 6:10am no air fryer. He never even told me the air fryer was cancelled/out of stock and just left almost ninja like. Leaving me standing at the door like an idiot for 5minutes until I realised he had gone.
I only bought the 5 curries to get free delivery. Now I have to wait 3 hours to ring customer services to complain, never again I've had it with Iceland. GRRRR

Once again, this dreadful customer service
