Some of the reviews say it is really small/only good for one person.

Can I ask the people who have it if you agree that it is very small?
10 litres doesn't sound small to me.

Moving house to a place with a tiny kitchen and this looks ideal

I can do food for 3 grown up kids (7, 11 and 13) in there. I can also do a whole tray of raw chicken wings that you usually get raw from super market, that feeds 2/3 adults. It's also pretty quick so if you want to do chips you can put them in after the meats and they are done in around 6/7 mins for frozen chips or 15mins for homemade wedges from raw potatoes. We have been really pleased with it.

£39.48 with amazon warehouse with extra 10% off at checkout, if you don't mind a potential scratch

Was looking to buy one of these oven type air fryers, currently have a 3.2l T17005 that's used all the time, was going to buy one from very, they sent a £30 off code, but this one seems better with the basket

Thanks for this. Couldn’t cancel the first order so will just refuse/return it.

Worth a punt at £39 for a few scratches on it. (edited)

Will it do a rotisserie chicken or not? The reviews seem to suggest you can’t as it will burn outside and leave inside raw. Is that the opinion of others here?
    gjttjg's avatar
I have done one in there but you need to be fairly creative (tie back the legs and wings so they dont flap about) and it needs to be a small chicken. With those 2 things in mind, results were really good.

I got this at £72. It's a great bit of kit. Very happy with it. At this price deffo a bargain

What is point of having air fryer if you have fan oven?
Other than size what additional benefits does it give
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
They cook quicker and use less than half the electricity of a conventional electric oven. (edited)

Quite good being able to do stuff like a cottage pie in it

Rotisserie chicken, just 1.4kg one, but you could easily fit a larger one if you position the skewer right, snip the wing tips and truss it up

You can get bigger ones to physically fit, the issue is the stress put on the motor.
I'd stick to 1.4kg max to be honest.

Do the chips cook good in that cage?
    D105620's avatar
Yes. Only slightly annoying thing is no room to cook anything at same time in the bottom
  9. gazbro's avatar
This is a real bargain..we bought it at £80 and have hardly ever used our regular oven since..yet to cook a whole chicken in it yet but will be trying it soon.

Got mine today. Great job, thanks OP.

    This looks okay.

Glad I waited before joining the air fryer gang. This seems perfect for us, can’t wait to try rotisserie chicken
    enimatek's avatar
You'll need to get a small chicken. I've a similar one and you need about 1kg or smaller. Does a great job though.

This is a definite bargain. My mum has had this air fryer for the past year and is really pleased with it. It has proper metal shelves instead of the wire racks which are in most air fryers and are hard to clean.

I've just had to return my Tri-Star air fryer to Amazon which I purchased 11 months ago due to a safety recall. I got a full refund of £90 for the Tri-Star so I'm going to replace it with this one at £55.
    Jammer's avatar
This oven has a top down fan and some reviews suggest when using the shelves, only stuff on the top one gets cooked properly as the air does not reach the lower ones. Wire racks would probably be better for 'air' frying circulation.

Can any beeping be turned off. I have an unreasonably sensitive dog and she’s terrified of beeps. So much so I had to butcher a bread maker to destroy the internal speaker on the circuit board recently
    ohmygod2006's avatar
I know you probably already heard this and I don't mean to sound like i know it all but, have you tried associating the sound with something positive? Eg, when that noise occurs, give a treat or act or do something playful so they get used to it. If you have already, then I apologise.

Excellent, bought one two years ago for 80 pounds, easy to clean, only 1500w, save energy, going to buy another one for my brother

Thanks, i will DM you my address

Arrived today as an upgrade from a 4.5l salter one, just done some chips and looks pretty good to me.
  17. Intenso's avatar
Mine arrived yesterday, I’m really impressed. Roasted a small chicken on the rotisserie and it was done to perfection. Nice looking appliance and was easy to operate, even without referring to the manual
  18. Lellow's avatar
Can this cook fish AND chips for two adults that will be ready at the same time?
    Prophecy's avatar
Would certainly fit - don't know about times though
  19. Yoshi123's avatar
Not sure if I like, it's great concept but only top tray gets heated with full power and then mid tray is meeh
  20. Rumana03's avatar
Can you use foil in this? Mine just arrived yesterday & I want to test it out
    graham.johnsonZCH's avatar
    YES.
  21. Jammer's avatar
Seems more like a fan oven than an air fryer

Mine arrived this morning, and for the price I paid I'm impressed. Ive cooked some frozen french fries in it so far (cooked quicker than in my compact air fryer and much crispier) its much quieter than my current fryer too, build quality is pretty decent but time will tell. Its very easy to operate, Ive not looked at the instructions yet. I think my only gripe will be having to clean the fiddly basket. I'm now off to hunt for a small chicken.

Word of warning - watch out for the hot element after use, its at the top of the oven and you could easily catch unprotected hands !!

This was a Wearhouse deal (used - acceptable), it arrived in origional box and packaging, looks like the box had been re sealed but the contents were untouched and in absolutly perfect condition !!

Thanks for sharing this OP - greatly appreciated (edited)
    eset12345's avatar
Same here got the warehouse one and inside the box was all untouched, everything still in the sealed factory plastic. They could've restocked it as new. Bargain for £40

A worthy upgrade to the little 3.2l one I've had for years (edited)

Be keen to hear of some experiences with the rotiserrie for a small chicken!
    eset12345's avatar
Bit late, but I've just done one, one of the 1.4kg morrisons 3 for £10 jobbies.

You could easily fit a larger one in if you snip the wing tips off and truss it up a bit, I'd say easily closer to a 2kg one

190c for 45 minutes and it was cooked through, but i put it on for another 10 at 200 to do the skin a bit nore

Just ordered this interesting little cooker (more like a halogen cooker than an air fryer) -
    amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1
    £40.49 with code CEEMIIW6.

The base rotates and it has the rotisserie feature (comes with the rotisserie cage/skewers/forks for joints of meat).
Also goes up to 230c, which is higher than most.

Already have a 12L Daewoo mini oven style air fryer (which is great), but this looks pretty cool so fancied trying it out.
Just hope it's works as well as it looks otherwise it's goinf straight back, lol. (edited)

I've ordered one. I've been eyeing one up for ages but this'll be great for those days when I don't need to put much in the oven.
  34. graham.johnsonZCH's avatar
This looks like the bargain of the year and if it is reliable the best and cheapest airfryer on the planet, if I had not just bought what I have bought I would definitely be buying this and I have been using airfryers since they came onto the market so I think I know what's what.
