Nice one, get to keep watching MotoGP now.

Awesome stuff. That's made me happy have some heat (However, is this really a good deal?)

get in happy days

Good news for Virgin customers - not so good for us paying £12 a month on Sky (although that's entirely my fault, granted).

May be best adding (free for XL customers) to the deal title as that's the really good part of this deal.

Absolutely buzzing at this news.....Just saved £36 pm after cancelling due to losing ESPN and now it is back...brilliant.

Thanks!

Those with Virgin TV XL will get all the BT Sport channels (BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN plus HD versions) for free on channels 529 – 530 and 547 – 500.

Sounds good, now just have to wait for them to offer 12 months half price again, feel like I'd be losing £300 by signing up to only six months half price...

Thanks for the heads up.

Good find!

Great news and just in time for the Football season

My husband and son are very happy to hear this!!

Great news!

Great for those already with XL, but think £15 a month is pretty steep for it otherwise, if you consider you have to pay for sky sports as well to get all matches. I just wish sky had everything, splitting it out over two providers makes it more expensive if you want it all....

Heat added as for existing VM customers with the right tv package this is a great deal.

Some people know why this is a very very hot deal!

Great news. Think the customers on virgin media XL package have done well given how much better BTSport looks compared with ESPN!

Good news if you can get Virgin cable....I can't

Already on XL, great news!

First game, Liverpool V Stoke, good times

I reckon they'll be doing offers on Sky, probably half price or something, before Xmas. Get the early adoptors in first paying full price then when they realise additional revenue to pay back the rights fees to the FA are required out come the offers.

If you're thinking about taking this out on Sky and are worried about the cost I'd give it a month first just to see what happens as any offers will likely be for "new customers" only.

Only downside to this is the hosts on BT sport! Other than that - hot.

Back of the net!

Great news! Thanks for the post! Bring back ESPN America for the College basketball though!!

Great thanks

Who are the hosts? I think I remember seeing Michael Owen and the bloke who did the BBC motor racing

So what sports do we get on this? I'm interested in anything NFL-related, though I doubt any of that's coming - pretty sure Sky have it locked up.

Nice on op i got a bosting deal on xl too on monday £50p/m for xl tv . 100mb broadband and basic phone

Yeah locked up on Sky till 2016 at least. The BBC have completely removed all NFL coverage this year on 5 live and highlights online. Also no Superbowl

At Rio's testimonial on Friday it was the bloke who did the BBC motor racing and apparently Owen Hargreaves doing the in match commentary!

This is just news isn't it? Not a deal?

Fantastic news. Will be staying with virgin.

OK for me, as the channels will be free.
Please let it be something more than just BL00DY football though.

bt is ok, hate the score bar at the bottom though, also owen is terrible, he does not have a voice for tv!

fantastic! i will have one happy hubby now

worth noting if you're on L with a Tivo box already it only costs an extra £10.50 a month to upgrade to XL and you get more than just the BT sport channels? (sorry if already mentioned)

laughs at all them people who jumped ship and went with sky a few weeks back because virgin lost espn .

my mate went witj sky feom virgin says its yhe worst move ever .

internet - crap
on demand - crap through internet
bt sport - £12

Have they tied up Game of Thrones yet? Or are illegal downloads or buying the DVD sets the only option?

Yippeeeee

Massive HEAT added for this. Just tested and all the channels are there and working. Great find and well done to Virgin for this....

Good call. That would be a great saving and you get more than just the BT sports channels. Well noted DeeDee2
