Yeah I love watching football games at 320 resolution in a tiny corner of a screen on my laptop in a foreign language that frequently cuts out. Proper good.

Great for those already with XL, but think £15 a month is pretty steep for it otherwise, if you consider you have to pay for sky sports as well to get all matches. I just wish sky had everything, splitting it out over two providers makes it more expensive if you want it all....

Heat added as for existing VM customers with the right tv package this is a great deal.

Get the early adoptors in first paying full price then when they realise additional revenue to pay back the rights fees to the FA are required out come the offers. If you're thinking about taking this out on Sky and are worried about the cost I'd give it a month first just to see what happens as any offers will likely be for "new customers" only.

Sky will be fuming, any sky customer who lives in a VM area are going to leave straight away. They will have to do something pretty special to keep their customers bearing in mind you have to pay extra for Sky Sports & EXTRA again for BT Sport! I reckon BT & Virgin are doing this on purpose to help reduce SKY's market share UP YOURS RUPERT MURDOCH

My best tip is Cancel don't ask for any deal just Cancel and put your 30 days notice in. 9 times out of 10 they won't offer you anything there and then it's retentions who give the best deals after a fortnight or so

Get ready for the price rises to cover this in the coming months though.

too right.... you can bet your bottom dollar you'll get a letter before the end of September saying "you know you lost some sport but we didn't reduce your bill, well, you can get it back for £5 a month, consider yourself lucky you had it free for a month as part of your overpriced, underwatched package you already subscribe to"
