Ugh, way to push my monthly broadband/cable bill to an even hundred... Joking, though - thanks for posting, heat added. For me the deal was 12.99/month, 6.50 for HD after three months and no activation fee.

drunk1

Charging £5/£6.50 for HD is a joke. However, still a good deal for BT Sport on Sky.

Gutted, signed up at full price just last week. Good deal though

Moving my broadband to Vodafone as of 6 September for £28 per month. Phoned up BT to query how they would refund me given this month's bill is for 13 August - 12 September. Long and the short of it was that I was offered: - Superfast Broadband (with free speed boost to 76MB) - Unlimited UK weekend calls / standard line rental - BT Sport HD on Sky All on an 18 month contract for £33 per month. Bear in mind that if I hadn't sought to cancel BT, I would be paying £72.99 per month for the above. £5 per month for BT Sports HD and unlimited weekend calls on the landline was sufficient to persuade me to cancel my Vodafone contract and stay with BT.

jona77

Peter9588

Did that £26 include bt tv?

Best they’ll give me for super fast fibre, bt tv with bt sport hd and phone is £35 a month... they’ve said they can do the bb for £20 but tv with bt sport hd is an additional £15 a month. Really don’t get how you guys got less than that!

As a matter of interest what do people use to speed up an aging android phone.? It has 3gb memory and is 2 years old.

Lottiebird

I think Android P might sway you when it arrives as it has some really nifty features. But if your S6 isn't slowing down its really hard to justify a replacement

indi64

I have same issue... Using S6 and somehow prefer over S9.. Crazy comment!. So now new S9 siiting in Box to get rid of. Agreed camera is insane as are speakers.. But not something I need greatly.

BigDan1190

A bit of persistance, I've had this matched too :) A manager had to do something in the background to allow the agent to see the offer. This has saved me a real hassle of getting pak codes and PAYG sims to keep my number (which I would have been doing today if I didn't get the deal), aswell as saving me 2 further payments in my current contract. Happy Dan! EDIT: I also just needed to pay the £6.98.

SmittyBear

Well bit of news. After a complete rant over chat i got transferred to the digital upgrades team. Lovely girl called Amy. After a 48min conversation EE matched the deal from buymobiles.net after supplied evidence. At first i don't think she believed me one bit, but after showing her the link to the buymobiles.net deal she changed her tune and matched the deal on the spot. If your not having success then supply evidence of the deal, as she said they get everyone trying it on everyday. Happy at last 8)

not sure if it is good or not so trying to quantify roughly. £33pm 24months £792. phone sim free say £250 playstation 4 say £250 probably some cashbacks around on those. £300 in for the contract £12.50pm that's quite cheap for a 10GB plan.

Just seen and ordered this on BT's website. It's SD only (HD can be added for an £6.50 a month, free for 3 months). You also get access to the BT Sport app.
Anon32

This has expired now

Sidney1979

I agree with that, but I do find the app casted to my tele actually gives a very good picture, better than SD. That's why I refuse to pay for HD. To have it on my Sky box is handy if I need to record as a last resort.

But SD is pointless these days, to charge that much extra for HD in this day and age is ridiculous.

There's a deal out (which is only lukewarm) for a 30GB contract, which only works out about £50 more over 2 years. I think this is a bit of a ripoff considering the data. 1GB isn't enough for my 11 year old brother these days, it's like 3 YouTube videos.

Can't find that offer through the link. Link was going to Pro version, found correct link here: https://www.fonehouse.co.uk/Huawei-P20?htrid=102805 £40 Cash back with Quidco I recon the SIM is roughly a £5pm deal.
