How did you manage to have the Line Rental not included in the price?

When I was doing it, the end result showed the 18.99 on top of the 39.99
Well I've just gone ahead with the deal as per the OP; ie LRA and P&P paid by card, and £11pm by DD. The proof of the pudding will be the £150 C/C and £50 c/b of course, but so far so good!

Didn't attempt TCB as I didn't want to muddy the BT c/b waters, and couldn't see how it might be done anyway!

Thanks OP, Great deal!
Hi there, No we wanted to go with the Infinity 2 option instead with a higher MB

Either way, it was still going to charge us the Line rental but this should be included in the price as it states above offer

And just to add..I am still getting £7.95 for the postage when it should be £9.99 P&P

I think there is something wrong when ordering

I tried looking at combining mse and tcb/Quidco yesterday but it just wouldn't work, ended up purchasing the mse link.

That is why I asked the question, as the Op mentioned the lower package price and the higher Cashback rate, so I was asking how this can be achieved please. On other sites in the past it is the package (eg infinity 1) that is tracking, not the price actually paid (it worked this way previously with mobile phone deals according to some comments on here). I don’t know for BT, hence asking for clarification here.

To get this price, do you follow the MSE link (or the link above) to get …To get this price, do you follow the MSE link (or the link above) to get the package price to show correctly on BT at £29.99 per month, add that to your basket. Then follow the link from TCB to BT, before then continuing/finalising your original checkout? On the basis of the last link used tracking for Cashback, TCB should then get the Cashback not MSE? Cashback from TCB and Quidco used to be in addition to any deal showing on sites, now some companies are offering different deals through Cashback sites (sometimes inferior) and in some cases factoring in the Cashback.

To all reading this.... if you ring up and ask for your existing deal to be synced with the free BT sports offer it is possible ... I did this when the 18 month free offer was on at Black Friday and they actually reduced my broadband costs to £22.99 a month (not fibre) and added BT Sports for free for 18 months. well said Boba. In my opinion BT advertises itself as the the BBC of internet providers. The bastion of the nation and then offers hand outs to the so called self marginalised (us) that would not be worth the argument to get the channel switched over from Emmerdale Farm.

I thought their broadband speed was less reliable than Sky - my internet speeds go down a lot at night and at times around mid afternoon. Never had this problem with Sky. The offers are for new customers only, retention deals so far haven't been good so think will have to wait a little longer. Anyone knows whether I can be classified as new customer at Sky, given I left 11 months ago, if I tell them to connect the line in one month?

Opposite for me , Sky were awful for me whereas BT was much better.

Just to confirm, I am not or have ever been, an EE mobile customer.

CS offered this in response to me asking if they'd price match Virgin's £9 5GB SIM only deal, no haggling whatsoever.
So, here is what I learnt from today's call with EE Customer care.. 15.99 deal is for someone who is currently in EE prepaid scheme.
So, you can first switch to EE prepaid day 1 and on day 2 switch to this contract to get this deal.
The agent also agreed if did So, they can't deny 15.99 deal.

Hope this helps! Let us know if this worked. I can't risk doing this way as I travel a lot weekly to EU and need lots of minutes.

Received my £95 reward card yesterday and blew it all in Tescos this afternoon.
also £55 TCB as well. on 15GB+ sim only deals

I done this last year
20GB at £15 PCM and got £100 voucher + 80 TCB. so it cost me nothing for the 12 months.
I also done this the year before but I made some money as the TCB offer was £90-100 (bit of a hassel this year as i had to change my number to another compnay (vodafone) wait 7 days then move it back to my new SIM on BT (as they would not move numbers from BT sim to BT sim.

how i do it open TCB go to sim only deal, click on it wait for it to open the page. then past in the BT sim page (that shows the SIM deal and voucher) and processed with your order. it will not track in TCB but once i got my sim I then contact TCB and say it never tracked. and then wait for BT to check and accept TCB or reject it. have not had them reject it on 4 BT SIM deals (over 2 years)

Edit should of said i moved both SIM to a family sim package that save £1-2 of a month. (cant remember the saving off the top of my head)

also it is ready to move deals I found on 1 sim we had. we started with 3Gb then within the 1st move we moved to 12GB @ £15 then the same deal come back around 20GB @ £15 about 2-3 month later and moved the sim on to this deal. this did not change the contract length. not sure if you can do down in price. as never tried that.

They are missing out on more custom and profits.I have been with GiffGaff and a happy customer for several years now however I recently changed office to a new building where I work and reception is terrible so as a result am looking to change to a network with better reception with the only realistic choices being one based on BT's EE network or the 3 network although the latter doesn't have quite as good coverage I know for certain BT-EE has the best were I work and no issues as I have heard many people I work with comment.I tried Plusnet (also part of BT but cheaper) a few months ago as I have my phone and fiber broadband with them as well. Unfortunately though I could just not get it to work with my iPhone. It didn't pick up the new network despite a lot of troubleshooting with support so I had to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period.I'd join BT in a heartbeat if they had the same deal for new customers. That is why I have now been considering Virgin Mobile as an alternative as their 4G service piggybacks on BT's EE network as well and it seems incredibly good value for money although it is a 12 months contract. The only thing I am wary of is that Virgin did have a few issues recently were their service went down for quite a long time and people couldn't make any calls or anything and this did not effect any of the other companies that also use BT's EE network. I also get the impression that customer service might not be as good.I may still give it a try though as I really need good reception where I work and there doesn't seem to be anything else that has such low prices sadly. I really wish BT would make their offers available to everyone.

I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about as some of the stuff you say doesn't make sense! If plusnet doesn't work with your phone then nor will BT they both use EE which is also owned by BT. If EE is crap then all of its MVNO's will be too.

My wife uses Virgin and she's never had any problems. If it did go down it couldn't have been that long.

Also all BT deals are open to non BT broadband customers you just have tomoay £5 more a month! I think that is a goid way to reward loyalty and plusnet do it too!

I hope you find the answers your looking for

I agree, the title really needs to make it clear that it's for existing BT …I agree, the title really needs to make it clear that it's for existing BT broadband customers only.

It's like the sky deals quoted for new customers only. Great if you can get it. I would love to be able to get the deal posted because that would men I have a BT line which then means I can go to the competition for phone line, broadband etc. Here in Hull KCOM have the monopoly so they can charge what they like as there is no competition. I pay £46.99 for a 75 Mbps fibre. It is a good service. No dropouts. Always get a good download and upload speed. It's got a stupid download limit that I don't get anywhere near and a landline phone that I never use. So never even had the benefit of free BT Sport when it first launched.

This offer is now £60 gift card right ?
I was with bt had tv and broadband and had 5 sims 6gb at 42 - 5 = 37pm they always put the price up on the broadband so I left and kept the sims .
Due to them putting the price up the discount of £5 remains .

To be fair I thought the bt fibre was awful for the signal dropping out upstairs . There answer to that was for me to buy a new router or go into a more expensive contract .

I went with vodaphone fibre for £20pm.
got bt sport on my iPhone but also struggle to stream the sport to my Apple TV box .

Amazon vouchers received 9th Dec.Just realized that it was £12 + £90 Amazon / iTunes voucher. I'd said £11 (now edited). But that was a BT retention deal I have on my sons phone. That didn't include any vouchers, so not really that good.Previous deals for the £12, 6gb BT SIM with £90 Amazon / iTunes vouchers were posted.18 May27 August22 September

Although I got my £90 vouchers on 9th December (Actually £180 as I got 2 * SIMs), I'd submitted another claim a few days before then as I'd been waiting over 30 days. I thought the Amazon vouchers that arrived soon after must have been as a result of the prompting.

Anyway, today the postman delivered 2 more letters from BT. Both containing £90 of Amazon vouchers (£180).

What to do ? Contact BT and send back or sit on them for a month or two and exchange to Amazon credit

After quoting the above offer

Been with them 7 or so years
He said 38 for what i get now with a new 18 month contract best he can do

So when I said that's terrible customer value where as the live chat had just offered 40 quid with tv and phone !!
He said he will go along with disconnection
Disconnection has been booked

I've been with BT for 4 months and I've received a letter saying prices are increasing. Also that I could leave my 12 months contract no penalties. My question is

1) I had £80 quidco witch I have received any impact on this.
2) £100 pre paid card which I have also received and I think it has £30 left.

I was considering going back to Sky at a cheaper line rental as long as I don't pay any cancellations and get penalised for the rewards.

Thoughts please.

As title suggests, I have just took advantage of this offer as an existing BT and Sky customer. Whats not to dislike.
Their running of this promotion is truly horrendous!

Think I'm finally on the contract I agreed upon, but it's costing an additional £24.50 a month now as they couldn't implement the offer properly their end for whatever reason!
Though they've advised the extra cost will be avoided by activating various other promotions, and adding the rest in credit...
But I work that out to £441...

UPDATE -
They've finally just processed 15 various "refunds" to leave me over £200 in credit, but it's virtually impossible for me to work out the mathematics of what they've done, as I'm sure they're still charging me more than the contract I agreed upon!
Am also now virtually forced to buy the line rental saver, as I want to avoid having higher bills later on, despite being in credit now.

Shambles!

Anyone have contact details for someone higher up at BT to try help me complain properly and try understand what they're charging me?
Thank you

I would recommend that anyone who signed up for this, calls or chats with BT to confirm it has definitely been applied correctly. My BT BB went live yesterday. I already had BT Sports in HD on Sky, but had it confirmed via chat, during the sign up process, that it will revert to being free for 18 months. The HD was mentioned as being 18 months too, which is line with what their website said.

There is nothing online to state what my bill will be next month, to confirm BT Sports + HD is free. I called them today and they said that my account is showing as 18 months of free BT Sports, but only 12 months of free HD. This is in direct conflict with what was discussed on chat (18 months free for both). Thankfully I have the transcript of this chat, so they really have no come back. A complaint has been rasied and I fully expect them to uphold the original offer.

Check your own contract with them folks.

Update:
I just received a call back from BT. I sent him the full transcript. He admitted that it was clear that I had been told that both BT Sports and the HD part would be free for 18 months, but that his colleague had misinformed me. As I already had BT Sports (I told them this from the outset), the deal mentioned was not on offer to me. He went on to say that they can't change my package, but can credit my account. He then went on to offer that we meet half way! I refused, given that they were fully in the wrong. He backed down and credited the full equivalent of 6 months of HD.

I've just had to phone BT about this. I got their email about my prices going up in January but t stated my contract expiring in May 2018 - odd since I recontracted for 18 months on Nov 17. Get though to find out what's going on and apparently I don't have BT Sports in HD on Sky free for 18 months - even though that's what I was sold. Have had to raise a complaint for them to recall the recorded phone call and find out what's going on.

Re-contracted for 18 months on the condition I got BT Sport free on Sky, but it stopped working just before I needed it for the midweek Premier League games!Called up and the guy said there was no evidence of the BT Sport on Sky on my order, but as a gesture of goodwill, he'd add it on - but still it's not working! Tempted to cancel everything completely - but I had spent an hour and a half agreeing a decent package, and I need BT Sport!!

Go to help and email 'care' at BT stating what has happened and what you should have been given and a manager will contact you in around 36 hours and sort it out for you, it's worth it, but it took me 12 phone calls and two calls from a manager until it got sorted, it is up and running fine now, send a email stating what has happened and state the package you believe you should have, ask them to ring you back and confirm everything is correct or get them to correct it for you.
