Despite the SE being a solid Alt-Az goto mount, it's not much scope for £1000. The NexStar SE was state of the art when it came out over 20 years ago and was worth quite a price premium. But it has remained essentially the same, just going up in price, when there has been modern competition coming out. It was even an OK purchase until just before the pandemic (£700-£800), but now it's just silly IMHO. Yes, £1000 is technically a "low" price for this nowadays. It's still way too high.
For someone looking at it, I'd suggest you look at something like the Skymax 127 AZ-GTi at half the price. The mount is smaller, but simpler to use (wifi, you control with your phone) and while the OTA is an inch smaller in aperture, it's a Maksutov which means perfect sharpness with no collimation.

Excellent, I've been running out of room on the rower so this will do the trick nicely.
