I've lifted this from the q n a in case anyone has this question.

Are the hydraulic hoses included and if so what are the lengths?

    Answer question

Hoses come included. These brakes are pre-bled and ready for installation. Clarks do not list the hose length in the specification. Normally, this is approximately 900 mm for the front brake and 1700 mm for the rear.

I don't get the lever design, are these for use with road bike bars?
    Dziambis's avatar
    Nope, flat bar checkVideo

I have "cooked" these brakes on a couple of occasions, might be down to poor brake management and I'm quite large etc but it was quite un-nerving when they basically stopped working halfway down a steep hill

160mm are quite small rotors, so bigger rotors like a 180mm may help,
I'm now running 200mm on each end on my main mountain bike, friends have even gone upto a 220mm on the front..

Good price, but reviews are poor.

They are a bit mixed, but more positive than negative. I had a look at the negative ones, and my guess is at least some of them are down to people not being able to fit them properly.

I've just been putting my dusty old MTB back together as a spare commuter bike and quickly realised on the first ride how rubbish the mechanical brakes are, so this a pefect deal for me to cheaply upgrade to hydraulic. (edited)

Disposable a this price , would cost you more to buy pads, fluid and a bleed kit.

    Great deal, bought!

Now just need handlebars, stem, headset, frame, setapost, saddle, wheels, tyres, bottom bracket, cranks, pedals, chain, derailleur, cassette, shifter and cables.

    Thanks OP!

i had these on my Nucleus and they where terrible. Had little stopping power. I'm glad yours work though, maybe its because i am a hefty boy.

Incredible that road hydraulic puts hundreds onto the price of those bikes when you can get mtb versions for this price.

Is there a difference between a set for road vs mtb?

Do the brake leavers connect to the brake units via Bluetooth as I see no cables or hoses ?

    Title says Hydraulic...

Daughter has these on her bike. The stopping power on them is superb!

    For £40 it's a bargain!
