    Are bike RRP's to be taken with a pinch of salt? There seems to be a never ending stream of heavily discounted bikes with fairly low end £20-30 components on them.

    I think with a RockShox fork this was probably a reasonable accurate price they sold for.

    Things have got so messed up with huge hikes over COVID then a big drop in demand.

    We're in an interesting time now, demand is very low and retailers are desperate. I definitely don't need another bike but I can see this winter having some great deals. January in particular.

    My Mrs has the older one of these... It's been rock solid, and never missed a beat despite being thrown around a bit. Spec wasn't mind blowing, but it's a solid bike without any obvious weak points.

    This is Dog, you should stop posting new bikes deals. I am sure everybody here already has 4 or 5 bikes thanks to your deals. Maybe focus on accessories and tools now
