Ordered a ‘Like New’ which arrived today. Good news it was like new and never flown or bound to another use, bad news was it wasn’t the pro but the basic Mini 3, cue 45 minutes into a useless chat agent who didn’t understand the difference between the model I ordered versus received. In end just gave in and sending back for a refund.

    What a waste of time.

Are these Drxon units any good?
    Prufrock's avatar
I've got a a drxon. It's good. You can get exactly the same drone from aliexpress for £60 or so.

I bought one off eBay last week. It was an Amazon return for £469. It had never been used. I was able to buy the DJI Refresh. Makes this deal seem expensive.

    Got mine for 440

Now 30% off , so around £460 for used very good.

Also there's a Used Like New for £465 (inc 30% off)

Need a good few of these to be swarmed over DJ Audits gaff.

And why would you wish to do such a thing?

£525 at CEX with a two year warranty is also worth considering.
    petermcgregor14's avatar
not with CEX warranty, I found it useless.

Once bitten twice shy. I got a damaged one and not fit to be flown safely. Had to jump through hoops to get money back quickly because I was sending a high value item back which was damaged on arrival.

I'd just pay the extra bit for a like new condition one. Worth it given the nature of the device.

Exactly, I'd never buy any electric goods from Amazon just to save a few quid, I mean there's being clever with your cash and then downright tight!

I bought one, thanks OP :-)

Deal has worked out great for me. Got my 'used good' one and it's unmarked and not bound to any other account. Says 2 previous battery cycles in the app so nearly new. Quick test flight and all was working as expected.

Did it have any DJI Care Refresh remaining?
  12. Bobef90's avatar
Not convinced it's worth buying . My mini 2 and Air 2 work fine

    I want a bargain Avata

Oh and I have never had a problem with CEX but not bought a drone from them.
Can they test them properly on purchase? (edited)

I added the avata on boxing day. Awesome fun

Mini 4 pro is £869 brand new, doesn't seem like a good deal to get a used older model
    plewis00's avatar
That’s nearly twice the price, but it’s not twice the drone.

52401257-efO40.jpgYou can also get the one with the basic controller "like new" for £401.

Handy for people like me who recently crashed theirs into a Loch.... and so already have the controller with the screen and just need to replace the drone.

I bought the 2 year refresh with mine last week thinking I would never use it. Perhaps I was wrong. Time will tell

The DJI drone I bought before has been sitting idle after a few uses. When I bought it, I thought I would use it frequently, but in reality, I haven't played with it much after a few times.

Take a long vacation and travel the world or say around a country like the Philippines... live cheap n make new friend ends and capture truly great sights with your drone!

Arrived on Sunday, also 2 cycles on the battery but initially came up with incompatible battery version though forcing the firmware update to controller and unit sorted that out. What’s not so good is a small dent to the hull and one set of blades are noticeably darker than the others eg its clearly been crashed and broken the props at some point. I guess I should be grateful it is a real drone and not cat litter though!

I can't believe these are legal, seems odd.

    Why's that, dare I ask.

Do we need licence to use this product

You must register before flying most drones or model aircraft outdoors in the UK.
    • anyone who will fly must pass a theory test to get a flyer ID
    • the person or organisation that owns or is responsible for the drone or model aircraft must register for an operator ID

Not had much luck in the past with warehouse drone purchases. It’s a lottery but could be worth it to some. Returning is simple enough.

I bought a Mini 2 SE for £240, not as good as the mini 3 pro but I wanted to learn and now I regret not buying the mini 3 pro
    proevo21's avatar
I did the same , I'll try to sell the mini 2 se on eBay.
As good as it is, obstacle avoidance and follow me / active track are the big selling points of the mini 3 pro.
