    If any of you did the same, the instructions don't work.

    After linking your Sonos account and adding the Sonos skill you need to ask Alexa to discover devices to find your Sonos speakers.

    (The phone app didn't discover them.)

    All the recent reviews for the skill say it's stopped working with Sonos, but it hasn't ! I've just proved it.

    I don't think that's correct for UK customers. It has been available in the US for some time. From your link:

    I’ve already had one under this offer a few weeks ago so this one has said not eligible. What I will say is the sound quality from these is far superior to the 3rd gen dot so well worth an upgrade

    got this last time the offer was on. i posted then and i'll say the same now....it looks really nice and i think the sound is a tiny bit nicer than G3 but not much in it.
    what i have found is that it doesn't respond as well to commands, i have to shout louder or be closer or both. and whisper mode is a lot worse than G3.
    i can happily use it but not in the room i had bought it for but its no big loss overall as the G3 stays there. (edited)

    It does. I know this as the plug to the one I replaced goes behind my fridge and I couldn’t be bothered to drag the fridge out!

    Got a Google nest home and Lenovo clock. I might downgrade to this because I'm sick of saying "hey/ok google" such a terrible, heavy command, and it never registers as well as Alexa
