The Elder Scrolls Online April 2024 Free Play Event is now live and continues until Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Throughout this event, you can experience the vast world of Tamriel and its many stories and adventures for FREE on PC/Mac, Xbox consoles, and PlayStation consoles.

During the Free Play event, you gain access to the ESO base game, including four unique classes (Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, and Dragonknight), 24 different zones, and the ability to participate in ESO’s various PvP game modes.

Ready to begin? Head over to our Free Play page and select your platform of choice. Note that if you’ve already begun your ESO adventure during a prior Free Play event, you can hop back in without any loss of progression!

Finally, any new accounts created during this period will receive 500 complimentary crowns to spend in the in-game Crown Store.

Once the Free Play event concludes, you can continue right where you left off by picking up your copy of ESO from the Buy Now page.

Great game for Elder Scrolls fans and anyone else really. I find it's different to many other MMOs I've played and love that there's no subscription and not Pay 2 Win at all. Currently on offer on steam I think which is a absolute steal of a price for 100s+ hours of chilled gaming.

Always enjoyed playing Elder Scrolls Online,there’s always been negativity towards it perhaps because of it’s essentially hybrid nature.I have not played for a few months but might play some more 🔥 with a few free days on offer.

If you're looking for something potentially more fun between friends, check out Skyrim Together, a mod that allows multiplayer within Skyrim.

Can you recommend this mod? I tried it many moons ago and it was very basic, I assuming it's improved a lot. I can see it's being worked on as a separate fork called Skyrim Together Reborn.

What do you think the chances are they'll make the game free to own on the 4th for the anniversary?

I have to wonder if there's anyone that would be interested in this game that hasn't already played one of the dozens of free trials over the last decade, picked it up for free in the several giveaways, or bought it for just a few quid in the countless sales. Still, I guess people might want to see if it has improved since they last tried it.
