That screenshot is a decent listing of some of the worst online travel agents that are best avoided.
For details of how awful they are, just search those names on TripAdvisor (preferably on the bargain holidays or air travel forums on the site).
For an extra £20 or so per person, you can book directly with Emirates Airlines themselves and save yourself any potential hassle that might occur due to the horrible nature of many of these online travel agents, especially if things go awry with the flight such as a reroute, cancellation etc.

Just read the TripAdvisor comments from literally thousands of people about these and other nasty online travel agents before you go ahead and save yourself £20 by skipping going directly to the airline.

Always book directly with the airlines for the best peace of mind.
And always pay by credit card.

By the way, paying the extra £20 or so to book directly with Emirates Airlines is still a decent price, so I'm voting this hot. Just avoid all of those shonky agencies in the screenshot and others of that ilk. If you have to use a 3rd party then go with something like Expedia.

Stop listening to the rubbish people say. It's completely fine holding hands in public.

Wrong

Surely you just read the advice from the Uk Government?

gov.uk/for…oms

You should read them every time you go to a Country you have never been to.

I’m an Atheist and have been to Dubai before.

If you just be normal, you will be fine. If you plan to go to Dubai to break the rules because you don’t agree with them, you deserve everything you get.

Stop reading the Daily Mail, 15+ million people visit the UAE each year and almost none have an issue.

Their modern economy relies on tourism, look at what they have built thanks to that income.

If you can’t go a few days without groping your GF/Wife in public, perhaps Benidorm would be a better option for you.

Is Dubai cheap?

Be prepared for £8 pints, expensive shopping and expensive food but it is quite an experience!
Some good prices, we’re thinking of Dubai in March next year and it’s coming up £375 each if we went to go from Gatwick and back to the same airport on a decent flight tome each way.
Drinks are expensive but rest same price here but taxi Nd tube cheaper than London
Highly recommended this if u think Dubai is expensive but you have wait till January for next year one don't buy now. theentertainerme.com/Dubai-N-Emirates/products/mobile/dubai-2019 do your own research as well before buying this app review is mix but work for me.

Literally just got back in the house after spending 6 days in Dubai via another deal that was found on here. Prices are very much on a par with the UK, except for alcohol which is a good bit dearer.

We will will definitely be going back though, hotel was gorgeous and a great place to relax.

The deal we got was for flights and hotel and worked out at £620 for half board which was pretty bargainous. I’d be looking for a similar deal in the future.

Dubai can be done for cheap.

Depends where you go
Dont know what im doing tomorrow, nevermind in 9 months
Emirates air service so far the best with me considering I've flown with many airlines

No. It was, in the 90s, when we lived there, but nearly everything's expensive nowSome things were pretty

No need to buy a sim, just to get Google maps. Download maps before you go or when you've got free WiFi out there (widely available).

Random seat is free, right?

It’s not required as they will seat you together, only needed if you want a specific seat.

Perish the thought of a 20MB wife at 35000 feet and that too for free😜
Last march our way home our flight delayed 4 hours because of snow and I have to cancel my taxi trust me those 20MB really really useful

I know it's not the same as drinking at a bar, but you can buy alcohol at the airport when you land and take it into Dubai with you. I don't remember it being that expensive.

I don't think Dubai is really the place to drink alcohol. There are pretty cheap rooms available. The one we stayed in had a sign with "No Alcohol or other rancid items allowed in the Hotel".

I wouldn't particularly recommend Dubai as a place to visit though. We just did a stopover on route via Emitates just to see what it was like.

Why don't the airlines match the prices these travel sites offer?

Have to say I disagree with not visiting Dubai, plenty to see and do in Dubai, I probably would have agreed prior to our visit though.

We also took a trip down to Deira to the real gold souk, an interesting experience with every second person approaching us to ask if we wanted fake stuff, I felt safer here than I did visiting New Orleans, although my wife disagreed and said that she felt like she was being looked at like a piece of meat. This was the only time she felt like this though and most of Dubai is not like that.

I thought Dubai felt very American in its entire set up, loads of American shops / brands / restaurants and cars.

Majority of the deals above are from Stansted where you can't fly the A380. Boeing 777 flies from there.

I wouldn’t think it would be an issue. There were locals (Emiratis) walking around the malls holding hands after Ramadan, think public displays of affection are mainly an issue during this period whilst in public.

Admittedly, I've booked my next flight to Dubai using Travel Trolley. Third time i've used them and no problems whatsoever. Also, on the ticket it says the issuer is Southall Travel (reputable company with a brick and mortar store in Southall). I called Southall Travel when i was searching for prices and they were £80 more expensive than Travel Trolley and £20 more expensive than Emirates. They agreed to price match Emirates and not OTAs as they are "not reliable agents" but issued my ticket via the unreliable agent anyway. Go figure.
Emirates used to offer 30-40kg and free seat selection. Now no free seat selection and 15kg, hence the price. Also the fare is cheap because its flying from STN and not LGW or LHR.

In-air service has been cut back a lot as well, they threw away their premium airline label years ago by joining the race to the bottom with the EU and NA airlines.
Very british thing to say...beer is expensive lol. Why would anyone want beer on holiday especially in an Arab country. Found a pint for £10 after walking for over 15mins. Dubai is fun for family and so many stuff to do
Went with my family March. Didn't do shopping just loads of activities booked on TripAdvisor would definitely be going back with the lads. Really looking into this deal!!
