I've used this to stick a Ring doorbell to my composite door (I didn't want to drill holes).

I had serious trouble pulling it off after 3 years of being on. Cause no damage to the door.

    Really recommend this!

Sticks well at first but eventually dries out and deteriorates. Everything I've stuck with this has fallen off at some point later.

Stuck a plastic bird feeder to my south-facing office window. It has dried out and will fail soon, but it's been nearly 5 years in an exposed location.
Dashcams are still firmly in place though.

Would this work on a dash cam sucker pad meant for a windscreen to fix the plastic sensor mounting on the windscreen?

You'd be better off buying the 3M pads that are meant for that. There are ebay stores which sell them already cut to size for different sat nav mounts. It'll look a lot better from the outside.

Wouldn't you be better off with some of the nano tape from Temu, ebay etc?

Depends on the application. This is good stuff.

Very sticky when used for the right job. I stuck a load of plastic speakers to the dashboard of some industrical vehicles as a temporary measure and this was the best of the double sided tapes I tried. They've been in temporary daily use fo 1.5 years now and still solid
