Seller Notes:

This set is classed as “Nearly New”, which means that it is either a customer return or a former photo sample. As such it could have very minor signs of wear and may not be supplied with the original box. However, the watches have been checked to ensure that they are running perfectly, and have a 6 month warranty.

FORZO G2 EnduraTimer Chronograph Watch

This second-generation EnduraTimer is fitted with an upgraded quick-release bracelet, upgraded buckle and a new sapphire crystal based on customer feedback from the first generation.

The EnduraTimer is Forzo’s take on the classic three-register chronograph. Like all of Forzo’s watches the EnduraTimer is inspired by the classic motorsports watches of the past and draws on vintage designs to produce something that’s the perfect mix of old and new.

The 40mm steel case is just 12.5mm thick (excluding the crystal), and with a lug-to-lug length of 47mm it wears very well on the wrist.

To ensure the best scratch-resistance and legibility the EnduraTimer has a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, as well as 100m water resistance to guarantee that you can wear it pretty much anywhere. Furthermore, the hands are applied with Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 lume for readability in low-light conditions.

The EnduraTimer Chronograph uses a Japanese Seiko VK63 meca-quartz movement. This calibre is widely used by many watch brands as it mimics the functionality of a mechanical chronograph movement with an instantly resetting seconds hand whilst also offering the reliability of a quartz movement.

To finish off the vintage look, the EnduraTimer comes on a steel flat link bracelet, with solid end links, screw-in links and a signed clasp.

Why This Watch?

  • The EnduraTimer has a classic three-register styling that evokes strong retro vibes whilst still being an original design.
  • Featuring a sapphire crystal, Super-LumiNova, and a 100m depth rating, the EnduraTimer is a watch that you can wear almost anywhere.

Struggle with the value on this (even discounted) with Ali selling the same movement with sapphire for below £40 delivered. Strongly suspect this is also made in China in the absence of any claims of other manufacture.

That’s the point with Hugo boss- they look good , but they’re not. This watch is decent and definitely good value for this price

Can anyone tell me which is the better of these two please? I like the look of them both but I've no idea of the actual quality of the movement etc.

They are very different watches so it's hard to compare, the first watch is a quartz chronograph and the second is an automatic diver's watch. I'd read up about quartz vs automatic to help you decide!

But probably just go for the one which you like the look of the most

In terms of the movements, they're both tried and trusted from Seiko, it's the NH35 in the automatic and the VK63 in the chronograph. Both are full stainless steel construction with a sapphire crystal.

I suppose to summarise, neither is noticeably "better" than the other, they're just different (edited)

they seem to be constantly reduced to £199 in various colour ways.. its okay I guess for a rebranded geckota if you want a cheap retro looking chronograph. I think saving the 199 and putting it towards a superior time piece is probably the better option IMO.

This reminds me of the old Klaus Kobec adverts...

I'm not advocating for the post as I know nothing about this watch/brand, but that is an incredible stretch there is very little in common between the two.

Bought one of the black dial with white sub-dial (reverse panda) variants when they were this price last time round. Superior level of detail for a watch at this price bracket, and a British brand, which is cool. If you can get over the fact that it's a Japanese meca-quartz movement in a fancy shell, it's a great watch. The sweeping chronograph seconds hand came loose on mine within the first few months, so I sent it back for a replacement, which they did without question. I've had no trouble since, and it regularly gets worn within my collection of 6 regulars.
