To start listening straight away from compatible mobile devices or via desktop, a Google Play account is required. Simply follow the instructions below to redeem your audiobook with Google Play before 11.59pm on 28 December 2023.

How to redeem your audiobook with Google Play

1. Go to play.google.com/redeem

2. Click ‘Sign in'

If you don’t have a google account, please click ‘Sign in’ and then ‘Create account’. To prevent setting up a new google email address, please click ‘ Use my current email address instead’ underneath the ‘Username box’

3. Once you’ve signed in or created your google account, go to play.google.com/redeem again and a ‘Redeem Code’ window will appear. Enter your unique code

If this 'Redeem code' window doesn't appear, please scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and once everything has loaded you should see a 'Redeem' button. Please click this and a ‘Redeem Code’ window will appear

4. Click ‘Submit’ and then click 'add' to add your audiobook to your Google Play Books

5. To access your audiobook, click ‘Books’ and then ‘Your library’. You can also read your audiobook on the Google books app, available in the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Androids. You can't redeem your audiobook in the Google books app

Please note, at no stage should you be required to enter payment details. If you are given this option then you will need to start from the beginning and follow our instructions carefully.

A Google account is required to access your audiobook so you can easily start and stop listening. There is no alternative way to access your audiobook.

Remember to redeem your audiobook with Google Play before 11.59pm on 28 December 2023, after this time your code will no longer be valid for redemption.

Terms and conditions

1. This reward is only available to Sky customers resident in the UK and ROI (excluding the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands) who have successfully joined Sky.

2. Other than employees of Sky UK Ltd, Sky Ireland and associated Sky companies, the following categories of entrant are not permitted to enter this Promotion:

a. Employees of companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies (or members of their immediate families, including any live-in partner or household member).

3. This reward entitles you to apply for one audiobook (unless we say otherwise) per household (your household is the billing address for your Sky account). The first 15000 applications will receive a code which may be used to redeem the audiobook described as part of this promotion.

4. Due to restrictions imposed by the application platform provider used to fulfil orders submitted using the codes we allocate for this reward, customers in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man will not be able to redeem this reward and there is no alternative reward available for customers that live in those excluded regions.

5. Codes are allocated on a first come, first served basis. 15000 codes will be issued and the Promoter accepts no liability if you are unsuccessful in applying for a code where the demand exceeds the number of available codes.

6. You can apply for an audiobook at any time between 24 May 2023 and 23:59:59 on 28 June 2023 (or until the supply of codes is exhausted) (the "promotional period"). No entries will be accepted after 23:59:59 on 28 June 2023 (“the Closing Date”).

7. To make sure all Sky VIP customers can benefit from this reward equally, applications depend on our 'Fair Use' policy.

8. By applying for an audiobook, we will treat you as accepting these terms and conditions and agreeing to keep to them.

9. To apply for an audiobook, you will need to register your details and confirm your email address.

10. The Sky customer or their nominated recipient must keep to all laws which apply.

11. The Sky customer or their nominated recipient must not sell their audiobook under any circumstances.

12. We will use any information we collect from you as part of the application process to provide the audiobook. We may pass your details on to other organisations for the delivery of your audiobook.

13. Sky may make audio/video recordings at events for promotional and marketing purposes such as promos and video content for broadcast, digital and/ or social platforms. Such recordings may include general “crowd shots” which by entering the promotion, you agree to participate in.

14. Sky may also request that you participate in audio and video interviews regarding an event, which you are free to accept or decline. If you accept, a written consent will be obtained at the time of the recording, detailing how your name and any image, video or voice recordings of you may be used by?Sky. You agree that the copyright (if any) and all other rights title and interest in and to any contribution by you shall vest in and be irrevocably assigned to Sky.

15. We do not accept any responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay in you sending your application or us receiving it. Proof of applying for an audiobook is not proof we received your application.

16. There is no cash alternative to the reward, and the audiobook is non-refundable and non-transferable.

17. We can substitute the audiobook for a reward of equivalent or greater value if this is necessary for reasons beyond our control.

18. Apart from causing death or personal injury arising from negligence or in respect of fraud and as far as allowed by law, we and our associated companies and agents will not have any responsibility for the postponement, cancellation, delay or changes which are beyond our control. We are also not responsible for any act or failure to act of any supplier.

19. If you are unable to receive your audiobook for reasons outside of our and our associated companies and agents control, we will not give any form of compensation, financial or otherwise.

20. Codes will be issued upon application. If you have not received a code by the Closing Date for the Promotion, unfortunately you were not successful in your application.

21. The unique code used to redeem the audiobook will be valid for use until 23:59:59 on 28 December 2023. After this time, the unique code will no longer be valid to redeem the audiobook.

22. We will not be liable for any communications which you are eligible for that do not reach you for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

23. Our decision is final. We will not correspond with you if you disagree. If you do not keep to these terms and conditions, any rewards will not be valid.

24. We may refuse any reward or make it invalid if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have broken these terms and conditions or if you or your nominated recipient or anyone authorised by you or your nominated recipient, acts in a way towards us, other people, Sky staff which we reasonably consider to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If we do this, we can give the audiobook to someone else.

25. This reward, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, will be governed by English law and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales , and for entrants resident in the Republic of Ireland, be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of the Republic of Ireland.

26. The Promoter is Sky UK Limited ("we"/"us"/"our") (registered number 02906991) of Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex TW7 5QD. Rewards for customers in the Republic of Ireland are given by Sky Ireland Limited (registered number 547787) of Fifth Floor, One
