On all other WiFi enabled devices:

List of hotspots here

It's still relatively new, but it's great News.

- SkyGo & Sky Wi-Fi are brilliant to reel new customers in who are always on the Go and who use broadband via Dongle!

HEAT!

Pretty sure I connected to a Cloud hotspot last week on my WP7 phone and i'm not a Sky customer.

All The Cloud hotspots I've used have always been free anyway?

First of all, it's for all Sky broadband customers, regardless of which mobile platform. Secondly, WP7 fails simply because you thought you could not use this??? Get real!

The ones in McDonalds are due to move elsewhere soon anyway, but most of the free ones allow an hour a day, or something like that.

Sky broadband customers presumably won't be limited to that one hour limit.

I will investigate, thanks

Yes it is unlimited

How many devices can I register? You can register up to six wireless … How many devices can I register? You can register up to six wireless enabled devices to your Sky iD including smartphones, laptops and tablets so everyone in your home can get free and unlimited internet at all UK Cloud WiFi Hotspots.

I have had this for about 1 month now, it was a bit of a pain registering my phone whilst loitering outside one of the hotspots, it took a couple of tries but now all working ok. You have to sign in whith your "MySky" login.

In MY opinion I have not been impressed with WP7 for the year and a half that I have had it. I have connected to the cloud in various ways for many years. The OP made it seem like you must have an app installed on your phone in order to benefit from the service, which is why I asked the question. My chagrin at my phone OS need not concern you.

Excellent

Thanks for this!

I get the error 'Sorry you are not eligible for this service' although I have SKY unlimited Broadband and Talk. I wonder if its because I have a rooted Android phone?

Good find, hopefully this is more reliable than the actual broadband!

Quite possibly, especially if you're using the app. Have you tried just picking the connection from your wifi list and logging in through the page?

Am not near a Cloud wifi spot at the mo but will try that when I am near one.

I just loaded up the app on my phone, entered my SKY details and got the error.

Anyone taking bets on how long it will stay unlimited?

What about only Sky HD customers (TV)?

whenever I've been connected to 'cloud' hotspot it has never actually allowed me to even load fb page. Will try through sky login though if given the chance

Nice find - thanks.

I have signed up with my OSF/ZTE Blade which it rooted. I didn't use any app though, I just followed the Sky WIFI link on my phone and followed the instructions.

Free wifi - whats everyone moaning about!

Tried it this evening. It said as I did not have the app to register in a different way, but that page did not load despite a few refreshes!

I am in Kings Cross tomorrow so will give it another go.

Fantastic, thanks

Thanks, got it working. Just love the fact that when looking on the Hotspots map I find that my house is a hotspot ! I thought my router was encrypted, asume that this hotspot will only work for me...I hope so..

Gollywood

What about only Sky HD customers (TV)?

No answer to this anyone? I am a Sky TV customer but not Sky Broadband - can anyone advise?

Thanks

Just loaded to phone real easy! Cool
