Anyone having these working with home assistant?

I have other cams like outdoor iq, indoor, doorbell etc working with both Google Home and Nest apps. What you looking for?

Good Cams but can only be used with the Home app, which has limited functionality. For example, no scheduled on and off times, unlike the older cameras which use the Nest app. There's a new Home app due which I'm hoping will make these cameras much more useful. How I use them : they turn on automatically when I go out and then send me notifications only if they detect a person. At night, I have to manually turn them on and have set my phone to do not disturb with an exception for a person moving. Seems to work well.

I just keep them on, don't bother with home and away, so save yourself the hassle! Also keeps you safer.

I’m also interested in someone’s genuine experience with these! As mentioned debating going all Google but would love to know someone experience with it compared to Ring etc

We have all Google stuff. Chromecast TV, multiple hubs normal/max, mini, nest audio etc. So added cameras just for band loyalty - indoor cams, outdoor iq cams etc. Google Nest Aware £50 per year approx covers all cams. But I think cameras are overrated for picture quality. I only bought because integrating with other google devices is easy and hope google security is better than Eufy etc.

So I have the outdoor cams hardwired, pay the £5pm or whatever, it's good, it works, it's clear, I don't have the doorbell. It alerts me soon as no delay (Ive set an alert boundary), but there is a delay on it letting me see the footage of the footage if I click it too soon, not sure if it's to do with my upload speed, it's only 8Mbps UP.

Is this a good baby monitor or best using something more specialist?

I use it as a baby monitor but I also use a BT audio monitor for overnight. Which has its own connection. I don't find the detection great, no cry or noise detected but motion is fine. Mostly got it as I had Google credit anyway and I can stream to my hubs

Anyone got any thoughts on this vs the ring ones or even blink?
Had ring outdoor cameras previously (edited)

I assume this means an update is being announced at Google I/O or do they not tend to do Nest releases there?

I think these CANT be used with the nest app which is frustrating as its better than the Google home version at the moment. The nest cam iq is better I think, despite being older

yes I heard that too and so purchased on v1 nest indoor from ebay - used but works fine.
Google Home is still not great for videos and not intuitive. Nest App seems to be quite slow nowadays too as I think Google are trying to force people onto Home.
