Hisense 55 Inch UHD VIDAA Smart TV 55E6KTUK - Dolby Vision, Pixel Tuning, Voice Remote, Share to TV, and Youtube, Freeview Play, Netflix and Disney (2023 New Model) amzn.eu/d/fqZ26hC

[Direct Full Array] Hisense TVs backed by a Direct Full Array boast a tight grid of individual LEDs that cover the entire back panel. These LEDs allow for precise control of brightness and contrast, resulting in crisp, vivid colors, and deep hypnotizing blacks from edge to edge.
[Dolby Vision] Never worry about subpar video quality or compatibility again. Simply choose and play whatever content you want, knowing you’re experiencing it in perfect detail, enhanced colors, and deeper blacks, thanks to the Dolby Vision.
[Pixel Tuning]Pixel Tuning is a dynamic approach to picture optimization that happens at the pixel level. Using an assortment of intelligent technologies like Global/Micro Dimming, Noise Reduction, Contrast, Brightness, and Sharpness Tuning to analyze signals frame by frame to optimize the picture for greater detail, better dynamic contrast, reduced noise deeper blacks and brighter highlights, and more.
[VIDAA Smart TV] Today’s TVs need to be easy to use, quick to reach, and smarter than they’ve ever been before. With easy and instant access to over 150 broadcast, cable, satellite, DTV, and streaming platforms all in one space, the VIDAA TV allows you to seamlessly navigate your favorite content smoother and faster than ever before in one simple package.
[Share to TV] The Share-to-TV function lets you bypass this issue with ease and grace. Share content from your other devices directly to your screen. Use “Screen Sharing” to mirror your device on your TV, or the “Content Sharing” option, which lets you continue to use your device while only sharing specific media on the big screen for everyone to enjoy.

It's weird that they call this 'direct full array' and 'allow for precise control of brightness and contrast'. That's just a lie.

It's just a basic direct lit backlight, with a few strips of LEDs behind a diffuser. There is no direct control of each LED. You will find the same type of backlight on most low end TV's from Hisense or Vestel...etc. Some models are Edge-lit, but it's usually those that are very slim (e.g. Samsung 7000-8000 series). I have a very similar model that I manage to get at a very low price at the time, as a bedroom way to keep me distracted from this nonsense called sleep, it’s quite good for the money I paid for.

    - Menu quality doesn’t compare to Sony, Samsung, LG.
    - Apps, it comes with quite a few of them installed and there is an App Store you can add some more if you wish.
    - DAB, never used it, I only do streaming.
    - Image quality sis decent, I haven’t notice anything that would put me off, so far.
    - Inputs, I only use WiFi connection for Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube.
Bluetooth, worked ok for the 5 times I connected my AirPods to it.

The fact that is not android might be a turn off for some but now depends what you’re expecting from a £3xx budget tv.
Reliability wise, after nearly 2 months, it’s still working. That is a bonus.
Image quality, quite good, didn’t notice anything wrong so far (btw, I am not qualified in any way to rate an image quality or test it beside my basic expectations).
No ghosting, dead pixels or major bleeding so far.
It is not OLED technology or mini led.

    Sorry for the long post.

    Hope it helps.

TLDR; if you have the money but you’re not expecting much from a budget tv, I do thing it is a good choice for a budget tv.

Don’t rate this tv at all. Bought 1 year ago and 6 months later I noticed black shadowing on the screen. Contacted Hisense and according to them it’s normal and it’s called dirty screen effect and they won’t do anything about it. It looks ridiculous.

I'm not very tech minded but fairly frequently you can pick up an entry level LG 55 for 280-300 which I tend to do every 6-7 yrs

Got this from Argos recently for the same price, I think the quality is proportionate to the price. Happy with it as a tv for the bedroom or for the kids!
