That is not a minor fault. The screen is broken. It is down to corrosion in the grid connector and only fixable with a new screen !

I have an ultra cheap 24" set that went like that just out of warranty. 1 line quickly mushroomed into 10.

Not got one, but something I gleaned from the which website - Hisense commit to providing updates for 10 years, lg and Samsung are significantly less.

I have a 65" Hisense, it's a great TV let down by poor OS that has not had an update provided for a long time, TV is still going strong after 7 years on the plus side. My main niggle is that it stopped supporting Plex.

Same experience here. The easy solution is stick in a Fire Stick 4k (worth it due to speed even if the TVs just HD), leave the Hisense VIDUU UI in the dark ages.

Avoid Hisense nonsense and get an LG or Sony or Samsung instead.

I've got a hisense, three years old and it's spot on. Brand snobbery ... No need.

Careful when looking into Hisense TVs. I nearly bought the U8H but found out the panels in US and EU are totally different. US has better panels.

I've got the 75'' and until the last few months was excellent. Still under warranty by hisense, I asked about a fault its developing and they didn't want to know. Heres what the 'minor' fault looks like. It's such a shame because the TV was previously a brilliant buy. (11 months old) the stripes are not reflections unfortunately and are getting worse.

Typical Chinese customer service! It's good to see real world experiences shared on these forums so that the trolls/ sheep get a counter voice. Thanks for sharing!
