Try bosch at eg John Lewis - same company as siemens, seems to have more features and is the quietest on the market at 38db

This is the one I have. It's great. I paid around the £400 mark so this is a good deal.

So would they do this via phone for nationwide pickup/delivery I wonder? Might be worth a call tomorrow I suppose.

That promotion ended in 2011?
If they have extended it and you can get a price match from JL I may go for this - my old dishwasher seems to be taking longer and longer to complete a clean and sometimes gets stuck at certain points. Thanks for posting.

good deal, though i got an amazing deal at john lewis earlier

got the top of range Bosch Dishwasher in their clearance sale in Reading

it was marked up at £459 and reduced to £319 - most people didnt bother as it was still a reasonable amount

was delivered to someone at end of Nov but never installed as it has been damaged

It had been reduced as it had been comsetically damaged - i usually dont bother with these and go for new - but son noticed there was also cashback of £71.76 on the bosch site - also negotiated price to £241

Its not perfect but damage is cosmetic and wont be seen when installed - It has a small 5p sized scuff of the left panel, a small 5p sized scuff on the right side, but a big 10in crack in the lid. Took the lid off with the manager and no damage at all except the lid

plus get £71.76 cahsback from Bosch but unlike Siemens its a proper cashback rather than trade in

also no waiting as there is a 3 month waiting list on alot of Bosch dishwashers, not just at JL but nationwide! In fact one had a 360 customer waiting list (http://www.johnlewis.com/231233007/Product.aspx) i think at JL alone!!

Like Siemens, these top of the range bosch's are made in Germany, unlike the cheaper Bosch's that are made in Spain

so we should soon get a top of the range bosch dishwasher for £170 with full 2 year manufaturer warranty - now that is a bargain

Just to let you know that if you go into store John Lewis will price match as I have just got them to do it. At the moment the deal with the £75 Cashback on their website stated that it ended on the 31st of January, but they should be extending.

Great news adrian2000! How did they match the trade in discount? Are they going to take/are you going to drop off your current machine?

What the did was did the price match to £399.00

Gave me £75 discount

Charged me £29.99 delivery as that is what Hispek charge and said if John Lewis extend the trade in offer they will give me the £29.99 back.

So pleased with the deal as the Hispek is an instore trade in only you have to go into the store to get the deal.

I am still waiting for John Lewis to come back to me as I also called them this morning to request a price match, so they may come back and give me the £29.99 anyway.

You may just get them to price match at £399 if you dont mention the trade in Deal. They only charged me the deliveryt charge as they did not want to give me the £75 as well. You should be ok as John Lewis offer free delivery.

Looks like the trade in has been extended to the 29th February 2012 as the details are at this link from Siemens.

I've requested a price match claim with John Lewis but with it being january, CS has informed me it could be 48hrs before they get back. My nearest John Lewis store is 30mile away, so im debating whether it is worth the journey for them to refuse the price-match.

Looks like John Lewis has now taken the £75 trade in offer off from their website, but not sure how long for, as it has definately been extended until the 29th of February 2012. They will still price match to £399 anyway.

John Lewis CS are a joke! Sent price request off, hadn't received it back after 24hrs, got told to wait 42hrs, now being told 5 days. In amongst that, they said deal with the store direct, all store do is try cold transfer my call to their online helpdesk!

Why cant I pick up my house and put it in St. Albans for the day so i can get the deal from Hispek and trade in my old machine

I have asked John Lewis why other companies have extended the offer of the trade in and they have removed it. I had a reply back today to say they are looking into it so hopefully will be back on their website again soon. I have also sent a message to Siemens to ask the same question.

I will let you know when I get an answer.

Are they charging you for delivery? Also any news on the £75 Trade in? They offered me £428.95 (i.e. added delivery) but didn't mention the trade in part.

Still waiting on the £75 trade in I chased John Lewis again today. Had mine delivered today, so hopefully if I get a response on the £75 trade in I can claim my 29.99 delivery charges back.

John Lewis advised me today that they are not doing the £75 offer but are doing the
