I've just been informed my wife got me one a couple of days before the promotion started😪. I only found out because I told her I've purchased the Vizio Dolby Atmos today. She was not happy I've ruined her Christmas surprise for me. I'll definetely add satellite speakers.

the q800a has a sub which can reach lower frequencies thats all (edited)

Many thanks, I've managed to read about it. Yes, a bigger sub and lower frequency. Otherwise same size, same specs and has Alexa, while for the 700 you can link it with a Echo device instead. I personally do not think is worth the difference in price, but that's me.

Got mine yesterday submitted my £200 claim. Setup was a pain, user guide is crap, basically if you have say a QN95A TV, then you need the HDMi eARC connection, the select the sound from TV + Soundbar HDMI eARC, not WIFi then you get QSymphony Space setup. All in all aside from lots of bass not that impressed

I was about to ask if you fancy selling your ms6500! I got the Samsung q60t soundbar 3.1(claimed 5.1) last year from the Costco deal under £200 with a crazy RRP of 499 and it's really disappointing. Shocked to hear the 800a might be similar!

It's just dull and lifeless, I might have expected too much but my previous soundbar is a 2.1 Philips from 2015ish and it blows the Samsung q60t out of the water.
Don't know what to try next

can you show me your setup please, i cannot find any information saying you can add another sub to the q90r soundbar.
