Great price, just too bad inno3d is as budget as it gets really
Voted hot all the same. (edited)

I wouldn't say that. Their iChill coolers have always been pretty good at the high end, though this particular card is a budget design. They're also one of Nvidia's oldest partners and have been making GeForce cards since the GeForce 2 series from 2000. It's just a brand that's more popular in Asia than here. Zotac is much better known in the West, but both are owned by the same company, PC Partner.

You forgot the £9.90 p&p costs.

Assuming most people cba to hang around on their boring outdated forums long enough to get free delivery.

EDIT: This is also the worst ranked 3080 card out there lol. Literally at the bottom of the pile. Laptops Direct have a better Palit model for the same price too.

EDIT2: The merchant that sells the founders cards which is banned on HUKD has a 10gb TUF 3080 for £689 + free delivery at the moment. Can't be posted though.

Well they have to get rid of the warehouses full of 3000 series GPUS somehow so we will see more of these deals from now.

A banned retailer currently has an Asus TUF gaming 3080 with the game bundle for £689.99

What letter would that retailer begin with?

£650 is the RRP on this, that's what I paid at launch. As much as it's last on that list of performance, this is still a great card, I game at 4K so I don't notice anything. The one thing I would say is that the dual fan is fine but it is a bit loud. After a while I personally got annoyed with it as my case at the time was a NR200P and this was next to my screen on the desk. I ended up doing a full water loop and never looked back.
I know not everyone is going to want to do that, I'm just saying that for those who can't or don't want to spend over £700 this is a good card, if you can live witht he slightly loud fans.

    What is... the 4000 series?

It's worth reiterating that the Nvidia RTX 3080 carries an MSRP of $699 and RRP of £649 respectively.

This card should be below FE cards.

£65 more would of gotten you ASUS TUF 12gb ram
    shamus21's avatar
    A much better card.
  10. tjc2005's avatar
Forget that. Let the prices come down drastically. Or wait for the 4000 series.
    Enet's avatar
Nvidia is deliberately emptying all 3000 stock so prices will continue to come down. The 4000 series will be much more powerful but also much more power hungry. You will need to upgrade your PSU and other components because the 4000s will be beast cards.

With the RTX 3000 series getting close to EOL they are still pricy and it is only the top end of the range that are coming down in price.

3080 used to sell on scan for like £650 on release. Not sure how this is a deal years later..

    Whats wrong with overchargers?

Also P&P op needs to be added.

Nvidia are bundling their GPUs with this from now just to get rid of them.

Does anyone actually know what the 4000series pricing is gonna be? Happy I got my 3080 FE easily a year ago, even if it does run very hot
    Arkz's avatar
Get yourself some Gelid Extreme thermal pad, easy to cut into shape and replace the chewing gum Nvidia put on the RAM as stock. Lowered my VRAM temps by about 15'C
  16. Reggie111's avatar
Yip the lowest model and still to expensive. But hey all of them are now sitting with stock they paid ti much for unable to sell it. All the best to all the greedy retailers that thought scalping was a great idea.

£650 rrp for the FE at launch so finally the first mildly acceptable 3080 price I’ve seen for an aftermarket cooler one. Only taken 2 years. (edited)
    powerbrick's avatar
The TUF and Zotac trinity were also that price at launch.
