Get another 4% off. Just placed the order and it lets you add the bluelight code on top of the save120

Looks like a good deal OP, what’s the build quality like? (edited)

Build quality is good for the money though understandably it’s not up to legion quality for screen and materials. Can’t get much better for money

If anyone needs to know... it has 2x RAM slots & can be upgraded to 16Gb (2x8Gb) DDR4 max - here's the official info/link... dell.com/sup…-us
Or, see the PDF Setup guide (page 13) dl.dell.com/top…pdf

Main benefit I've found with having more RAM is multitasking is better, & more browser tabs can be opened at the same time (if you're a multiple opened+pinned-tab user like me!). No, obviously won't get you greater FPS in games.

An 8Gb module costs just £10-15, so if you can afford that (cost of a kebab), then go for it - make sure to buy DDR4 SoDimm for laptops ebay.co.uk/sch…=15 (edited)

    Dell Q&A says it will take 2 x 8GB.

I would upgrade it. Dual channel will speed up things with the 4 cores to help with multitasking.

Should help the iGPU too. (edited)

The tech here is a bit old - my son has a 2019 Lenovo with the same internals, that was £315 new at the time (Black Friday offer on eBay with ebuyer as the seller).

Runs very fast, the Vega iGPU can handle Fortnite at 1080p on low settings, 60fps.

But yeah, this is circa 4-year-old tech now.

I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be possible

Still don't understand this nebulous "WVA (Wide Viewing Angle)" moniker Dell use to describe their screens. Some people take this to mean it's a VA panel, but VA stands for "Vertical Alignment".

And VA characteristically don't have wide viewing angles... Could it be IPS?
