These aren't the best inflatable kayaks but they are more than lilos with sides. They have skegs which help massively with tracking a straight line.
They'll be fine for canals and rivers and I know some people take this onto the sea, although I personally wouldn't do that without going along with somebody with lots of experience. It goes without saying that you should always wear a bouyancy aid or preferably a life vest when using these.
