So these are unfortunately quite bad for the environment. The sugar cane plastic is just plastic. It has almost indistinguishable properties and is not any more biodegradable or sustainable than normal PET/HDPE when it becomes waste.

This bottle is reusable, wow, amazing, but the lids are brittle 'bio' plastic and crack/break after a few on/off cycles, rendering the bottle unusable, and the whole thing then has to go to landfill.

It would be better for the environment to use standard PET single use water bottles. It would be better still to use a rugged flask type bottle, better than that is to use a cup, and the best option is to go outside when its raining with a funnel in your mouth.

bought this as I’m a sucker for a bottle which simply says water on it - very dystopian

Good influencing. Dystopian is going to be so hot this summer.

I bought this. The taste was horrible , not sure if it was the bottle itself or the water, but I would not buy this again

    Tastes fine to me.

I needed a drink while at a site cafe couple weeks ago, this was the only bottled drink available.

These are truly awful quality - a bottle of Evian will last longer than this. I too thought I was buying something that would last but what you are paying for here is a disposable bottle which has unbranded water within. AVOID.

The English aren’t exactly know for the quality of their water!

Great idea for in the shops, but selling them on Amazon kinda defeats the purpose of them. Why not just get a decent water bottle from Amazon or a glass of water from the kitchen while you wait for this to be delivered.

It's for people who are always accidentally swigging stuff like turps or meths: that great big WATER logo reduces the chances of mix-ups.

Well...according to the pictures the correct way to use these are to shake them in the air with the lid off and hit them like a game of conkers, again so water flies everywhere.

I'll stick with corporation pop, thanks.

FYI Although plant based, it's chemically indistinguishable from normal plastic and as such, I wouldn't be keen on reusing (or even using) now we're learnt more about microplastics.
