If anyone wants some Bose QC45's then there are a set on Amazon AS NEW for £200 reduced from £299, if you select 'gift' you get a free £30 voucher as well, so in effect £170, may be of use to someone

Well mine have arrived, whisky I know all about, earphones, well nothing special to tell you the truth, not any better than my latest AirPods and still slip out of my ears, they also come with a set of memory foam plugs so will give them a go, the App is the same as my H9’s with very limited functionality.

I will find a use for them but think I will stick to my AirPods as they are made for Apple devices.

Note the earbuds come inside the JW box which is tied with a ribbon, so if your HN box comes open as mine did and you only see the JW box don’t panic the EarPods are inside

After you’ve had too much to drink, pop the earphones in to minimise the effects of your partner nagging and kids complaining. Great deal!

As OP said, effectively getting the whisky free. Or the headphones for around £200.

    Either way, great deal

These headphones have very mixed reviews. Might be difficult to sell if you want to recoup some of the cost ..
Could end up a very expensive blue label

The whisky is certainly not free and a lot cheaper than £169 in Costco. But anyway a good price. (edited)

For anyone with a Platinum Amex card you get £50 of free stuff from HN twice a year with no minimum spend, they just refund the first £50 you spend, you have until 1st June then it resets to another £50 until the end of the year, so a chance to use the £50 against this.

The Blue label 70cl is only £126 or so at Costco, so the earphones are costing you around £180, no good on a plane though to link to the entertainment system without a bluetooth dongle plugged in like this (10% voucher code discount is under the price if you look) amazon.co.uk/dp/…1fc

You can't really say its had very mixed reviews because your friend had issues. Everyone has a friend with issues with some product or other

There is no such thing as a Platinum BA Amex so that could be the issue

Just for info, before I threw out the box I read the leaflet in it, apparently this was a Christmas promotion limited to 100 boxes.

    I would suggest reliability.
I have H9is and they're almost bulletproof bar some nicks etc I've got to the casing over time.
My mate has had multiple pairs of EQs and he's had issues like death on firmware update, drop outs of the left earbud iirc etc, went through three pairs before he gave up and just returned them.

Now admittedly that's a very small sample size, but if he had that experience then it's likely others have too.

    What a bizarre deal!

As I'm sure other people have said, JW Blue is really quite overpriced but if you're into it then each to their own.

B and O are earphones, not headphones, so that should probably go in the description. I know it doesn't mean much to most, but I can never use earphones (weird wonky ear canals I guess).

    Hot though, all the best,
    Glyn
