    Free isn't necessarily good.
Many of these recipes are too high in carbs to maintain ketosis
    Cold from me

I did Keto for 2 years. Lots of butter, meat, almond flour as a replacement for wheat flour (baking). Some blueberries and strawberries on the odd occasion.

I've found keto really works, I did near-keto (so primarily just really low carb) and I dropped significantly with nearly no physical activity (I have a back injury which makes that near impossible).

I don't think you can say keto works when you didn't do it tbh. Furthermore, it's not healthy. Sounds like you just cut down on carbs, which isn't really a diet, and actually a much better choice. Congrats on your success, hopefully you find it sustainable.
